Jörgen Kjellgren es un cantaautor, diseñador de sonido y compositor sueco, quien desde 2009 tiene varios discos editados en sellos independientes y en su página de Bandcamp. También forma parte del dúo pop Little Boxes.

La apertura con “Been Living Low” es en el estilo musical americana, en el que hay atisbos al folk y country. “Bluebird Waltz (Extended Version)” es una bella versión de pop elegante y voz edulcorada, mientras “Evening in the valley” desvela una folktronica que despliega un ritmo cálido y cautivador. 

“Étude Two” muestra unos acordes de guitarra que se deslizan con suavidad, al tiempo que “On a Tuesday”, evoca al pop nostálgico de los sesenta, en tanto que con “Seventeen” regresa el pop refinado y al mismo tiempo sobrio, pero que se siente emotivo, donde el detalle de los arreglos del vocoder y texturas de sintetizador aéreo, no pudieron ser más apropiados. La simpleza del pop en “You Put a Song in my Heart”, hace que sea una canción seductora. “Étude Three” es un tema instrumental inmersivo en el que se asoma tímidamente una guitarra delicada que despliega sus alas en la canción “Étude One” que cierra este disco.

“Bluebird” es un disco fino que crea un ambiente cálido y relajado para escuchar bellas canciones.

Jörgen Kjellgren is a Swedish singer-songwriter, sound designer and composer, who since 2009 holds several albums released on independent labels and on his Bandcamp page. He’s also part of the pop duo Little Boxes.

The opening with “Been Living Low” is in the American musical style, in which there are hints of folk and country. “Bluebird Waltz (Extended Version)” is a beautiful version of elegant pop and sweet vocals, while “Evening in the valley” reveals a folktronica that displays a warm and captivating rhythm.

“Étude Two” shows guitar chords that glide smoothly, whereas “On a Tuesday” evokes the nostalgic pop of the sixties, while with “Seventeen” the refine pop is back, and at the same time sober, but feels poignant, where the details of the vocoder arrangements and airy synth textures, couldn't have been more appropriate. The pop simplicity on “You Put a Song in my Heart” makes it a seductive song. “Étude Three” is an immersive instrumental song in which a delicate guitar timidly appears and spreads its wings in the song “Étude One” that closes this album.

“Bluebird” is a fine album that creates a warm and relaxed atmosphere to listen to beautiful songs.
