David Strother es un violinista eléctrico y compositor que vive en el sur de California, con una trayectoria de más de treinta años y una discografía de alrededor de cuarenta discos. Strother también toca regularmente en la banda de psicodelia Haywire, ha colaborado con la agrupación progresiva/fusión Stratos Ensemble y lidera el conjunto de improvisación/experimental/jazz, DBC:Unit. Así también ha compuesto para bandas sonoras de cine y televisión y es acompañante en varias bandas de jazz, improvisación, swing y country, experimental/electronica, entre otros estilos.

El disco abre con la canción que le da título al álbum que despliega una atmósfera intrigante con estelas ambientales del violín producidas por loops. “Once and Future Dinosaur” continua con un aire misterioso a un siempre bajo volumen, como para adivinar cuáles serán las próximas tonalidades. En “The Backwards Law” asoman algunos ruidos como telón de fondo que le dan cierta rítmica – casi imperceptible - a esta canción. “Coen Bros Dream in Blue-Green” continúa con este viaje a un territorio desconocido que finaliza con el último track de este disco, “Bajo La Misma Luna”, que brilla con su bella luz y sombra. 

“Ghoist voices” es un álbum meditativo, inmersivo, teñido de ambient, envuelto en melodías ondulantes.

David Strother is a Southern California-based electric violinist and composer with a career spanning over thirty years and a discography of around forty records. Strother is also a regular player in the psychedelic band Haywire, he has collaborated with the progressive/fusion outfit Stratos Ensemble, and leads the improv/experimental/jazz ensemble, DBC:Unit. Also composed for film and television soundtracks and it’s a sideman in several jazz, improvisation, swing, country, experimental/electronica groups. 

The album opens with the title track that displays an intriguing atmosphere with ambient violin trails produced by loops. “Once and Future Dinosaur” continues with a mysterious ambience always in a low volume, as if to guess what the next tones will be. On "The Backwards Law" there are some backdrop noises that give a certain rhythm - almost imperceptible - to the song. “Coen Bros Dream in Blue-Green” continues this journey into the unknown territory that ends with the last track on this album, “Bajo La Misma Luna”, which shines with its beautiful light and shadow.

“Ghoist voices” is a meditative, immersive album, tinged ambient, wrapped in waves of melodies.
