Russell Burden y Craig Tattersall son dos renombrados músicos de los campos del ambient electrónico y las grabaciones de campo 

Russell Burden tiene el apodo de Being con el que realiza intervenciones sonoras en sitios específicos y trabaja en el arte visual. Fue miembro de The Humble Bee & Players y ha grabado piezas de drones para sitios específicos que editó en su sello Riverwork Press.

Por su parte Craig Tattersall es conocido por su proyecto The Humble Bee, fue fundador del trío de The Boats y ha colaborado con Bill Seaman, entre otros artistas. Y recientemente el sello inglés Quiet Details publicó su álbum “Lichen cloak on a white Stone”. 

Diagénesis es la etapa final del ciclo sedimentario en la que una vez depositados los materiales sufren una alteración química y física que provoca, generalmente, su compactación. En esta oportunidad el dúo hace prevalecer los sonidos que ha capturado en sitios específicos en los que se encuentran elementos acuosos, microbios, sedimentos, entre otros, que se encuentran en lugares tan naturales como que pasan desapercibidos, sin embargo, Burden y Tattersall los develan con texturas electrónicas y pequeños ruidos silenciosos que transcurren en los cuatro tracks de 11 minutos de duración cada uno que se sumergen en un submundo desconocido y sombrío que sólo queda matizado con las capas ambientales que se deslizan por todo el álbum.

Russell Burden and Craig Tattersall are two renowned musicians in the electronic ambient and field recording fields.

Russell Burden has the moniker of Being with which he makes sound interventions in specific sites and works in visual art. He was a member of The Humble Bee & Players and has recorded site-specific drone pieces through his Riverwork Press imprint.

In relation with Craig Tattersall is known for his project The Humble Bee, founder member of The Boats and has collaborated with Bill Seaman, among other artists. And recently the English Quiet Details label released his album “Lichen cloak on a white Stone”.

Diagenesis is the final stage of the sedimentary cycle in which, once the materials are deposited, they undergo a chemical and physical alteration that generally causes their compaction. On this occasion, the duo prevails the sounds that they have captured in specific sites where there are watery elements, microbes, sediments, among others, which are found in places as natural as they go unnoticed, nevertheless Burden and Tattersall reveal them with electronic textures and tiny silent noises that take place in the four 11-minute long tracks that plunge into an unknown and gloomy underworld that is only nuanced by the environmental layers that slide throughout the album.
