Esta es una nueva edición de IIKKI que comprende la música del productor de música electrónica y pintor japonés Akhira Sano, así como el trabajo del fotógrafo francés David Nissen. Ambas ediciones son complementarias y al mismo tiempo pueden escuchar y leerse independientemente.

La mayoría de fotografías tiene un fondo negro y son tanto en blanco y negro como en color en un estilo retro. El CD de música contiene 7 piezas de ambient que se desenvuelven lentamente a través de notas sintéticas cuidadosamente elaboradas. En la apertura con “I Remember The Place, The Colors” unas pocas notas se entrecruzan y producen sutiles líneas melódicas, “Isn't It Pretty To Think So?” está cruzado por un ruido que aparece y desaparece mientras tintinean las notas como campanillas. En “Nakazu” el silencio - omnipresente en todo el álbum - evoca esas fotografías de personas solas en la calle cruzando un paso peatonal. Tal indefensión sólo transmiten soledad e inquietud. En “Pots After 100 Years” parece que el tiempo se detuviera como en aquellas fotografías donde los personajes quedaran inmovilizados(as). “Love Of Birds, Walking On Soil”. “Grasp At The Distance” cierra un álbum que destila bellas melodías en tanto que en el paisaje predominan las sombras, la oscuridad y los personajes enigmáticos.

This is a new edition of IIKKI comprising the music of Japanese electronic music producer and painter Akhira Sano, as well as the work of French photographer David Nissen. Both editions are complementary and can be listen and read independently. 

Most of the photographs have a black background and are both black and white and color in a retro style. The music CD contains 7 ambient pieces that unfold slowly through carefully crafted synthetic notes. In the opener “I Remember The Place, The Colors” a few notes intertwine and produce subtle melodic lines, “Isn't It Pretty To Think So?” it is crossed by a noise that appears and disappears while the notes tinkle like bells. In "Nakazu" - the omnipresent silence throughout the album – conjure up those photographs of people alone on the street crossing a pedestrian crossing. Such defenselessness only conveys loneliness and restlessness. On “Pots After 100 Years” it seems that time stopped as in those photographs where the characters remain immobilized. “Love Of Birds, Walking On Soil”. “Grasp At The Distance” closes an album that exudes beautiful melodies while shadows, darkness and enigmatic characters predominate in the landscape.
