Este es el tercer álbum del músico electrónico italiano Simone Giudice que lanza el sello alemán Affin, dirigido por el músico Joachim Spieth.

“Alone” consiste en siete piezas que combina varios estilos como la electrónica, el ambient, pop-ambient y con algunos atisbos a la música neoclásica.

El disco abre con “Movimento”, cuya intro es una línea ambiental de teclados, junto a unas frases de piano que se mantienen incólumes, mientras la atmósfera se vuelve inquietante cuando el sintetizador agudiza las notas. “Aria” se inclina por el pop de guitarras oníricas que envuelven por su ropaje melódico. Por cierto, una maravillosa canción. “Sequenza” se expande hacia el infinito con una melodía edificante que enaltece el entorno, en tanto que en “Umana” se pulsan sigilosas líneas de bajo que producen cierta inquietud. Continua “Ritaglio” con su elegante despliegue de teclados creando una atmósfera relajante. “Strati (with Luigi Calfa)” es una marea de pads sintetizados que se asemeja al talante ceremonioso del órgano. Cierra el disco, “Sostrato” viaja con su misterioso polvo cósmico surcando las estrellas en completa armonía. 

“Alone” tiene un carácter tan meditativo como conmovedor, junto a la maestría de Giudice de combinar las delicadas melodías y la dosis de tensión apropiada.

This is the third album by Italian electronic musician Simone Giudice to be released by the German Affin label run by musician Joachim Spieth.

"Alone" consists of seven pieces that combine various styles such as electronic, ambient, pop-ambient and with some glimpses of neoclassical music.

The album opens with "Movimento", whose intro is an ambient keyboard lines, along with some piano phrases that remain unscathed, while the atmosphere becomes disturbing While the atmosphere turns eerie as the synth sharpens the notes and soars. “Aria” leans towards dreamlike pop guitar (sound like) that envelop by its melodic clothing. This is a remarkable song. “Sequenza” expands to infinity with an uplifting melody that elevates the environment, while “Umana” stealthy pulsating bass lines produce a certain restlessness. “Ritaglio” continues with its elegant display of keyboards creating a relaxing atmosphere. “Strati (with Luigi Calfa)” is a tide of synth pads that resembles the ceremonious mood of the organ. Closing the album, “Sostrato” travels with its mysterious cosmic dust furrowing the stars in complete harmony.

“Alone” is as meditative as it is soulful, along with Giudice's mastery of combining delicate melodies and the right dose of tension.
