El compositor y pianista, Niklas Paschburg combina la electrónica con la música contemporánea moderna. Se le han editado casi 20 discos en Bandcamp y en sellos como el berlinés 7K! Records que publica este mes su tercer álbum de estudio “Panta Rhei”. 

Cuando Paschburg era un joven pianista sus referentes fueron Nils Frahm, Ólafur Arnalds, entre otros artistas, no obstante hoy el pianista alemán se ha convertido en un destacado músico en la escena de la música llamada neoclásica.

Este álbum se inspira en la filosofía griega de Heráclito de que "todo fluye" y claro, los arreglos de piano clásico fluyen con las pulsaciones rítmicas electrónicas y los pads de sintetizadores, entre canciones meditativas y otras con mayor ritmo e inclinándose a veces al pop como se muestra en “Dark Side Of the Hill con la participación en voz de lùisa, así como también en “All The Secrets Left Untold” que presenta a la cantante Bianca Steck y en canción “Every Morning (Night 6)”, donde destaca la voz de Kaktus Einarsson. “Sunrise”, "Interlude 1", “Serafico”, “Istria” e “Interlude 2” se despliegan con sobriedad y elegancia las frases de piano y estribillos que evocan imágenes nostálgicas de paisajes apastelados. “Zimt”, “Flâneur”, “Lunatic Circus”, “21th Of June”, se impulsan con el dinamismo de una rítmica pulsante. “Delphi Waltz” se destaca por si sola con ese coqueto vals con aire francés quizás, por ese acordeón juguetón que deambula en la canción.

Este álbum se siente emocionante en aquellas canciones de melodías edificantes, así también invitado a soltar el cuerpo y bailar.

Composer and pianist Niklas Paschburg combines electronics with modern contemporary music. To his credit he has almost 20 albums released on Bandcamp and on labels like Berlin's 7K! Records which release this month the third studio album “Panta Rhei”.

When Paschburg was a young pianist, his references were Nils Frahm, Ólafur Arnalds, among other artists, however nowadays the German pianist has become a remarkable musician in the so-called neoclassical music scene.

This album is inspired by the Greek philosophy of Heraclitus that "everything flows" and of course, the classical piano arrangements flow with the electronic rhythmic pulsations and the synth pads, between meditative songs and others with more pace and sometimes leaning towards pop, as shown in "Dark Side Of the Hill featuring lùisa’s vocals, as well as on "All The Secrets Left Untold", presenting the singer Bianca Steck, and Kaktus Einarsson's voice stands out in the song "Every Morning (Night 6)". On “Sunrise”, “Interlude 1”, “Serafico”, “Istria” and “Interlude 2” the piano phrases unfold with sobriety and elegance together with refrains that evoke nostalgic images of pastel landscapes. “Zimt”, “Flâneur”, “Lunatic Circus”, “21th Of June”, are driven by the dynamism of a pulsing rhythm. “Delphi Waltz” stands out on its own with that flirtatious waltz with a French air, perhaps because of that playful accordion that meanders in the song.

This album feels poignant in those songs with uplifting melodies, and also invites the listener to let go of the body and dance.
