Manuel Oberholzer aka Feldermelder es un músico suizo, diseñador de sonido, productor y artista de instalaciones sonoras. Es co-fundador del sello -OUS y forma parte del colectivo audiovisual Encor.studio. Tiene una decena de discos en solitario y en colaboración con otros artistas como Sara Oswald, Julius Sartorious.

“Euphoric Attempts” consiste en quince piezas cuyos densos, melancólicos y oscuros paisajes sonoros, desean transmitir la euforia interior de Feldermelder en relación a la tensa y difícil situación mundial que hace presagiar un aumento en su nivel de conflictividad. 

Estas composiciones combinan minimalismo, drone, ambient y con acercamientos a la música neoclásica, se desarrollan sigilosamente e incluyen fragmentos de ruidos digitales y la mayoría de ellos alterados. Es una colección de piezas cuya atmósfera se adaptaría bien a una banda sonora de un film con un final impredecible.

Manuel Oberholzer aka Feldermelder is a Swiss musician, sound designer, producer and works in sound installations. He is co-founder of -OUS imprint and is part of the audiovisual collective Encor.studio. He has over ten solo albums and in collaboration with other artists such as Sara Oswald, Julius Sartorious.

“Euphoric Attempts” consists of fifteen pieces whose dense, melancholic and dark soundscapes wish to convey Feldermelder's inner euphoria in relation to the tense and difficult world situation that heralds an increase in its level of conflictivity.

These compositions combine minimalism, drone, ambient and with approaches to neoclassical music, that unfurls stealthily and include snippets of digital noises and most of them altered. It is a collection of pieces whose atmosphere would be well suited to a soundtrack of a film with an unpredictable ending.
