Esta es una nueva entrega en este año de la continuación del sencillo “Animate”, editado en Lore City Music el 25 de agosto, por el dúo de art-rock de Portland, formado en 2011 por Mariposa Williams (vocales, teclados, guitarra) y Eric Angelo Bessel (percusión, teclados, guitarra). También se incluyen por primera vez el simulador de cinta analógico pasivo Handsome Audio Zulu y el Mellotron M4000D Mini que enfatizan el sello nostálgico y ceremonioso del dúo.

El EP "Under Way" lanzado en Lore City Music el 6 de octubre contiene dos pistas que abarcan los estilos dark-wave, rock místico y acechantes rastros de post-punk.

El tema de apertura, “Animate”, es una bella canción acompañada de torres de tambores pesados que producen la sensación de espacio junto con la voz etérea de Laura Mariposa.

La segunda pista “Very Body” es una intrigante pieza instrumental con efectos de en la guitarra que reverberan y extienden los tonos sostenidos. 

Este magnífico EP es la antesala que nos mantendrá expectantes al próximo álbum que el dúo trabaja en estos momentos.

This is a new installment in this year of the follow-up of “Animate” single, released on Lore City Music in August 25th by Portland-based art-rock duo, formed in 2011 by Laura Mariposa Williams (vocals, keyboards, guitar) and Eric Angelo Bessel (percussion, keyboards, guitar). They add for the first time the passive analog tape simulator Handsome Audio Zulu and a Mellotron M4000D Mini that emphasizes the nostalgic and ceremonious seal of the duo.

“Under Way” EP released on Lore City music in October 6th contains two tracks that span the styles dark-wave, mystic rock with lurking traces of post-punk.

The opener “Animate” is an amazing song accompanied by towers of heavy drums that produce the sensation of space along with the ethereal voice of Laura Mariposa’s vocals. 

The second track “Very Body” is an disquieting instrumental piece with reverberating guitar effects that extend its sustained tones.

This magnificent EP is the prelude that will keep us waiting for the next album that the duo is currently working on.
