El sello griego Submersion Records publicó recientemente un nuevo disco del Thanos Fotiadis, pianista clásico, multiinstrumentista y compositor de música electrónica residente en los Países Bajos.

Este es el noveno disco de Fotiadis en su trayectoria musical. La música en “Achronos Topos” (que significa Lugar Atemporal en griego) contiene tres largos tracks. “Lullaby” que abre este álbum, sugiere una música expansiva, envolvente que despliega un cierto halo de misterio que se releva a través de la angelical voz fémina. “Polis” tiene acercamientos al dark ambient con sus oscuras texturas electrónicas que zigzaguean en el espacio con sutiles tonos y reverberaciones de voces procesadas. “Hope” es la pista de cierre del álbum cuyos paisajes sonoros de ambient invita a un viaje sin retorno. Thanos Fotiadis invita al oyente a tener una experiencia de escucha profunda para que perciba los sutiles detalles de una música con bellas atmósferas.

The Greek label Submersion Records recently released a new album by Thanos Fotiadis, a classical pianist, multi-instrumentalist and electronic music composer based in the Netherlands.

This is Fotiadis's ninth album in his musical career. The music in “Achronos Topos” (which means Timeless Place in Greek) contains three longform tracks. “Lullaby” that opens this album, suggests an expansive, enveloping music that displays a certain halo of mystery that is relieved through the angelic female voice. “Polis” has approaches to dark ambient with its murky electronic textures that zigzag in space with subtle tones and reverberations of processed voices. “Hope” is the closing track of the album whose ambient soundscapes invites to a journey of no return. Thanos Fotiadis invites the listener to have a deep listening experience to perceive the subtle details of a music that display beautiful atmospheres.
