Éric Latteux reside en Francia y ha estado activo desde principios de ’90 con su proyecto de dark ambient y música experimental, Internal Fusion, quien lanzó un CD en colaboración con Désaccord Majeur bajo el seudónimo de Tlön Uqbar ("La Bola Perdida"), dos cintas a través del sello Désaccord Majeur y apariciones en varias compilaciones.

Este disco consiste en un largo y solo track de 55 minutos que pasa por distintos momentos. No es especialmente el dark ambient el que cruza este álbum, sino que diferentes estilos en el marco de una pista con un fuerte enfoque experimental. Al comienzo, las frecuencias repetitivas entran y salen y de cuyo fondo emerge una percusión tribal hipnótica que me evoca a O Yuki Conjugate por el ambiente cálido y primitivo. Luego de unos 14 minutos, sonidos recortados despliegan una forma mecanicista que entra en un loop. A los 16 minutos de desarrollo las líneas de teclado se tornan melódicas, volubles y con un aire medieval, así también la percusión cuyos beats son relajados. Más adelante, a los 33 minutos, los sonidos son comprimidos y a su vez retorcidos, con algunos bordes metálicos que deriva en sonidos oscuros algo distorsionados. Casi al finalizar, los drones sumergidos junto a unos sucios chasquidos forman una amalgama confusa y una atmósfera ligeramente espeluznante.

Este disco tiene distintos momentos que van desde aquellos melódicos a otros abstractos, con una percusión aleatoria e impredecible a otra tribal y repetitiva.

Éric Latteux is based in France and has been active since the early '90s with his dark ambient and experimental music project, Internal Fusion, with which he released a CD in collaboration with Désaccord Majeur under the moniker of Tlön Uqbar ("The Lost Ball"), two tapes through the Désaccord Majeur label, and various compilations appearances.

This album consists of a long and single track of 55 minutes unfolding different moments. It is not especially dark ambient that crosses this album, but rather different styles within the framework of a track with a strong experimental focus. At the beginning, the repetitive frequencies flow in and out and from the background of which emerges a hypnotic tribal percussion that evokes O Yuki Conjugate for its warm and primitive atmosphere. After 14 minutes or so, clipped sounds unfold a mechanistic shape through loops. After 16 minutes of development the keyboard lines become melodic, fickle and with a medieval air, as well as the percussion and beats are soft. Later, at 33 minutes, the sounds are compressed and at the same time twisted, with some clanging edges that lead to slightly distorted dark sounds. Almost at the end, the submerged drones together with some dirty clicks form a confusing amalgam and a slightly spooky atmosphere.

This album has different moments that go from those melodic to other abstract ones, with a random and unpredictable percussion to a tribal and repetitive one.
