FIAT600 nace cuando el músico chileno Miguel Conejeros vivió en Barcelona, época en la que participó en Sónar y sacó varios discos por aquel tiempo como Bipolar y F600.
Sin embargo, la trayectoria de Miguel, uno de los músicos fundamentales de la escena underground, se remonta a mediados de los ’80 como miembro de la legendaria banda de post-punk Pinochet Boys. Más adelante, en los ’90, forma parte del grupo de pop Parkinson.
En el ámbito de la colaboración, destaca la de Jorge González para su EP “Epistolar” (Infinito Audio, 2018). Y por cierto, “Laboratorio” cuenta con la colaboración de varios músicos chilenos: Fran Straube (Rubio) y Martina Petric, en voces; Silvio Paredes (Electrodomésticos, Los Mismos) en el bajo y Sebastián Levine (Pinochet Boys, Supersordo) en percusiones.
Este álbum fue editado en mayo 2021 en formato digital, CD y más tarde en vinilo y fue co-producido y masterizado por René Roco, director de Tensa Records; sello que aglutina a artistas de la escena electrónica nacional.
Con un lenguaje irreverente, satírico, irónico y divertido en sus letras, Miguel transita por distintos estilos como el house, electro, downtempo y mutaciones propias que crea nuestro protagonista, lo que se plasma en pulsaciones rítmicas como columna vertebral en este disco, junto a los continuos y retorcidos sonidos sintetizados. A excepción de “Psycoflaite que adopta un tempo más suave y en el que destaca el coro de Martina Petric.
Miguel Conejeros con este álbum sigue desarrollando su lenguaje mordaz y genuino que se despliega siempre en movimiento, experimentando sonidos desestructurados, oblicuos, inesperados y bizarros, acordes con su impronta.

FIAT600 was created when Chilean musician Miguel Conejeros lived in Barcelona, at which time he performed in Sónar and released several albums at that time under the monikers of Bipolar and F600.
However, Miguel’s trajectory, one of the fundamental musicians of the underground scene in the country, dates back to the mid-1980s as a member of the legendary post-punk band Pinochet Boys. Later, in the '90s he was part of the pop group Parkinson.

With an irreverent, satirical, ironic and funny language in his lyrics, Miguel goes through different styles such as house, electro and downtempo and his own mutations that our protagonist creates, which is reflected in the pulsing rhythmic as the backbone on this album, along with the continuous and twisted synthesized sounds. With the exception of “Psycoflaite that adopts a softer tempo featuring Martina Petric’s vocals.
Miguel Conejeros with this album continues to develop his biting and genuine language that is always displayed in motion, experiencing unstructured, oblique, unexpected and bizarre sounds, in keeping with his style.
