El trío está formado por el violinista Erlend Apneseth, el guitarrista Stephan Meidell y el baterista Øyvind Hegg-Lunde.

La música de este disco fue originalmente encargada por FRIKAR Dance Company para acompañar la interpretación de un nuevo trabajo, 'Skaut', que trata sobre la cobertura del cuerpo en diferentes culturas.

Con la combinación de instrumentos acústicos y electrónicos este disco contiene 9 piezas electroacústicas desarrolladas en un espacio de improvisación.

Arrancando el álbum se aprecian inmediatamente las influencias orientales con las ragas e instrumentos de cuerda, todo ello acompañado de encantadoras pulsaciones rítmicas que evocan imágenes de bailarines tribales que danzan a un ritmo constante y alegre (“Impedans” y “Slekter"). “Linjer” y “Vake” tienen una línea ambient a base de un loop de notas sintetizadas junto a los punteos de raga. Los cantos de pájaros en “Fuglane” es música que invita a la meditación, en tanto que “Springar” con la sesión de cuerdas y los sub-bajos marcan los ritmos de una danza tradicional nórdica. “Lokk” despliega cánticos orientales, ondeantes sesiones de cuerda y suaves ritmos que inducen al trance. 

El trío tiene la habilidad de crear espacios sonoros que transportan al oyente a lugares acogedores y de ensueño.

The trio is made up of violinist Erlend Apneseth, guitarist Stephan Meidell, and drummer Øyvind Hegg-Lunde.

The music on this album was originally commissioned by FRIKAR Dance Company to accompany the performance of a new work, 'Skaut', which deals with the coverage of the body in different cultures.

With the combination of acoustic and electronic instruments, this album contains nine electroacoustic pieces developed in an improvisational space.

At the beginning of the album, the oriental influences are immediately appreciated with the ragas and stringed instruments, all accompanied by charming rhythmic pulsations that conjure up images of tribal dancers who dance to a constant and joyful rhythm (“Impedans” and “Slekter”). “Linjer" and “Vake" have an ambient line based on a loop of synthesized notes along with the raga picks. The bird songs on “Fuglane" is music that invites meditation, while "Springar" with a string session and sub-basses set the rhythms of a traditional Nordic dance. “Lokk” displays oriental chants, billowing string sessions, and gentle trance-inducing rhythms.

The trio has the ability to create sound spaces that transport the listener to cozy and dream like places.
