Este es el segundo disco en solitario del pianista, compositor y productor de Estocolmo, Manne Skafvenstedt quien trabaja en los campos del jazz, ambient, electrónica y el diseño sonoro.

“Archway” contiene siete piezas de piano desplegando un ambient diáfano y bellas melodías, junto a paisajes sonoros electrónicos.

Con “Overcast Its Not the End”, que apertura este disco, comienza el viaje con su estilo neo-clásico en el que se aprecian patrones con notas bajas. “A lone conifer. A barren Cliff” muestra una maravillosa línea ambiental electrónica, junto a pequeños ruidos que invitan a imaginar ese acantilado con un solo conífero, mientras sopla el viento suavemente.

“Somewhere. In Between” también teje ese tapiz de terciopelo a base de notas que invitan a pensar y soñar con algo que deseamos. “Continuum. Its up to you” que cierra este álbum, viaja por derroteros más inquietantes donde el ruido se hace polvo.

Desde luego que “Archway” invita al oyente a sumergirse en una escucha profunda y a conectarse con el mundo interior.

This is the second solo album by Stockholm-based pianist, composer and producer Manne Skafvenstedt who works in the fields of jazz, ambient, electronics and sound design.

"Archway" contains seven piano pieces displaying a diaphanous ambient and beautiful melodies, along with electronic soundscapes.

With “Overcast Its Not the End”, which opens this album, begins the journey with its neo-classical style in which patterns with low notes are appreciated. "A lone conifer. A barren Cliff” shows a gorgeous electronic ambient lines, together with small noises that invite you to imagine that cliff with a lone coniferous tree, while the wind blows gently.

"Somewhere. In Between”also weaves that velvet tapestry based on notes that invite us to think and dream about something we want. "Continuum. Its up to you” that closes this album, travels down more disturbing paths where noise turns to dust.

Of course, "Archway" invites the listener to immerse ourselves into a deep listening and to connect with our inner world.
