Refectori es el artista catalán Xavier Longàs quien propone contundentes líneas de bass drum, sigilosas líneas ambientales por donde fluye la oscuridad en la línea de artistas como Vatican Shadow y The Haxan Cloak.

Los sonidos se retuercen que lindan con el ruido junto a las voces sintetizadas que parecen un coro de ángeles (“Cierzo”). Profundos bajos retumban en “Quadre” produciendo ecos que se expresan como una guadaña que pasa cortando la maleza. Chasquidos, sonidos rugosos, sucios y sinuosos circundan por el resto del disco. El juego de voces en “Inorganic” es escalofriante y evoca el aura enigmática de Raime.

“Inseguretat” sugiere un viaje por la deriva cósmica que continúa en “Tujma”, última tema de este álbum aunque los repetitivos ritmos glitch le dan un matiz percusivo.

Xavier Longàs sabe trabajar con la intensidad y la densidad produciendo atmósferas inquietantes.

Refectori is the Catalan artist Xavier Longàs who proposes strong bass drum lines, stealthy ambient lines through which darkness flows in the line of artists such as Vatican Shadow and The Haxan Cloak.

The sounds twist and border on the noise along with the synthesized voices that resemble a angels choirs (“Cierzo”). Deep bass rumble in “Quadre” producing echoes that are expressed like a scythe cutting through brush. Popping, rough, dirty and sinuous sounds surround the rest of the record. The voice acting in "Inorganic" is chilling and evokes the enigmatic aura of Raime.

"Inseguretat" suggests a journey through cosmic drift that continues on "Tujma", the last song on this album, although the repetitive glitch rhythms give it a percussive nuance.

Xavier Longàs knows how to work with intensity and density, producing disturbing atmospheres.
