Danielle de Picciotto es una multifacética artista, pacifista, activista, poeta, feminista que ha puesto su voz en las legendarias bandas Crime And The City Solution y Space Cowboys. Ha mostrado sus pinturas y dibujos internacionalmente. Fue una de las iniciadoras de la Love Parade y de The Ocean Club en Berlín junto a Gudrun Gut.
En 2001 comenzó colaborando con el ex Einstürzende Neubauten, Alexander Hacke, formando hackedepicciotto.
“The Element of Love” es el tercer disco de de Picciotto en el que despliega bellas atmósferas adornadas con violín, guitarra y electrónica, acompañado de poesía y spoken-word.
De padre egipcio, madre alemana, nacida en Washington, su abuelo italiano y abuela de origen ruso, con un discurso que cuestiona el sistema político corrupto y la declinación de la civilización occidental. La música es intensa acompañada de cajas de ritmos abstractos. Evoca también la inocencia de nuestros primeros días como niños(as), descubriendo súper héroes, escuchando cuentos, participando de los cumpleaños, las travesuras, la primera bicicleta, el primer beso… Todo ello en un ambiente armónico.
Este disco nos invita a una reflexión, a repensar nuestra sociedad, nuestros paradigmas.

"The Element of Love" is Picciotto's third album in which she displays beautiful atmospheres adorned with violin, guitar and electronics, accompanied by poetry and spoken-word.
From an Egyptian father, a German mother, born in Washington, Italian grandfather and a Russian grandmother, with a speech that questions the corrupt political system and the decline of Western civilization. The music is intense accompanied by abstract drum machines. She also conjure-up innocence of our first days as children, discovering superheroes, listening to tale stories, participating in birthdays, mischief, the first bicycle, the first kiss... All in a harmonious environment.
This album invites us to reflect, to rethink our society, our paradigms.
