En 2019, durante el Moving Noises Festival en la iglesia Evangélica Christuskirche de Bochum, Alemania, los conocidos artistas Aidan Baker en guitarra, Gareth Davis en clarinete bajo y Tomas Järmyr en batería, se reúnen y realizan una sesión de improvisación de jazz de avanzada y drone.

El ambiente oscuro de esta iglesia es el escenario adecuado para la música de Werl3 que se despliega en un ambiente íntimo, que se desarrolla lentamente en cuyo trasfondo un clarinete balbucea lánguido, la guitarra produce acordes que flotan en el ambiente y el baterista extiende su brazos para producir sutiles redobles y tocar los tambores en forma aleatoria.

Todo transcrure con cierto sigilo pero que por momentos no logra contenerse y el clarinete muestra su fuerza y agudas notas, mientras que la batería no deja de golpear los tambores con fuerza y la guitarra despide acordes deslizantes y ruido.  

Los tres artistas se complementan perfectamente para crear un set intenso, penetrante e hipnótico.

In 2019, during the Moving Noises Festival at the Christuskirche Evangelical Church in Bochum, Germany, reknown artists Aidan Baker on guitar, Gareth Davis on bass clarinet and Tomas Järmyr on drums, get together and perform a cutting-edge jazz improv session and drone.

The dark atmosphere of this church is the appropriate setting for Werl3’s music that unfolds in an intimate atmosphere, which develops slowly in the background on which a clarinet babbles languidly, the guitar chords float in the environment and the drummer extends his arms to produce subtle rolls and play the drums randomly.

Everything exudes with a certain stealth but at times cannot contain himself and the clarinet shows its strength and sharp notes, while the drums do not stop beating the drums with force and the guitar emits sliding chords and noise.

The three artists complement each other perfectly to create an intense, penetrating, and hypnotic set.
