El activo artista sonoro Italiano Giulio Aldinucci saca un nuevo disco para el sello británico npm. “Music From Organ” cuyo título es elocuente en tanto la música se compone de grabaciones que luego fueron procesadas con diferentes técnicas. En un escenario de exploración, Aldinucci estaba interesado en que interactuaran los sonidos del órgano a tubos con el entorno arquitectónico. 

Los paisajes sonoros intuyo son antiguas iglesias italianas, de grandes espacios, con amplia resonancia, el aire que nutre el sonido de órgano.

Distintos timbres, tonos y volúmenes diferentes son los que ejecuta nuestro protagonista. Se aprecian sonidos con tintes metálicos e innumerables capas procesadas  creando un mar de ambient ensoñador. “Movement in Marble” tiene un aire nostálgico, épico y sonido granulado que se convierte en polvo cósmico que se desvanece lentamente, envuelto en un loop infinito.

Hacia el final un track inesperado con un remix del artista alemán Farron, quien con sus suaves rítimicas, provee atenuadas pulsaciones a una línea ambiental que retoma sutiles capas del órgano a tubo.

The active Italian sound artist Giulio Aldinucci has released a new album for the British npm imprint. "Music From Organ" whose title is eloquent in that the music is made up of recordings that were later processed with different techniques. In an exploration setting, Aldinucci was interested in having the sounds of the pipe organ interact with the architectural environment.

The soundscapes I intuit are old Italian churches, large spaces, with wide resonance, the air that nourishes the organ sound.

Different timbre, tones and different volumes are those that our protagonist preforms. Metallic tinged Sounds and countless processed layers are appreciated creating a sea of dreamy ambient. “Movement in Marble” has a nostalgic, epic air and grainy sound that turns into cosmic dust that slowly fades, wrapped in an infinite loop.

Towards the end, an unexpected track with a remix by German artist Farron, who with his soft rhythms, provides attenuated beats to an ambient line that takes up subtle layers of the pipe organ.
