Kasper Agnas ha estado muy activo en la nueva escena del jazz sueco. Fue el ganador del Concurso de Guitarra Eléctrica de Jazz de Montreux en 2017.

“Grain” consiste en tres temas de solo guitarra eléctrica en los Agnas improvisa con distintos efectos con sostenidos rasgueos cuando las aguas están tranquilas, sin embargo cuando éstas se mueven en corrientes más turbulentas, los punteos de la guitarra se multiplican creando un ambiente al borde del ruido.

“Mirrored Memories” se asienta con propiedad en este disco cuando Agnas golpea suavente las cuerdas creando una resonancia que genera nuevos matices sonoros. Aquí me parece que está su maestría al sacar estos sonidos metálicos inclasificables que se confunden con las notas de órgano.

Agnas en este disco aprovecha sus técnicas para experimentar y obtener de su guitarra una amplia variedad de tonos y sonidos.

Kasper Agnas has been very active in the new Swedish jazz scene. He was the winner of the 2017 Montreux Jazz Electric Guitar Competition.

“Grain” consists of three songs of solo electric guitar that Agnas improvises with different effects with sustained strums when the waters are calm, however when they move in more turbulent currents, the guitar picks multiply creating an environment on the edge of noise.

"Mirrored Memories" sits properly on this album when Agnas gently strikes the strings creating a resonance that generates new sonic nuances. Here it seems to me that it is his mastery in bringing out these unclassifiable metallic sounds that are confused with the organ notes.

Agnas on this album takes advantage of his techniques to experiment and obtain a wide miriad of tones and sounds from his guitar.
