“Tides” (City Centre-Offices, 2000) fue un album fundamental en la música electrónica de los 2000 que compuso el artista de Berlín Uwe Zahn. Se caracterizaba por su sonido electro, ambient que estaba bajo la etiqueta del estilo IDM (Intelligent dance Music) y con el sello de un trabajo DIY, de hacer las cosas por uno mismo.

Después de casi una década en la que dejó su música en suspenso, Zahn ha vuelto con trabajo colaborativos con Hior Chronik y Porya Hatami, varios álbumes y EP’s en solitario en sellos como n5MD, Éter Editions y Echocord. 

“Wirkung” que traducido al español es efecto, que por cierto se plasma en la música de Arovane, quien se ha influenciado por el romaticismo, realizando un trabajo, “individualista, emocional, dramático y, a menudo, programático”. 

En el disco se aprecian muy pocas incursiones rítmicas, concentrándose en formas sinfónicas, formando zonas ambientales para la escucha profunda y sumergirse en los bellos detalles de las armonías.  

Interesante es el último track de este disco, “komposition no. 1" que según Zahn es un puente al futuro con el álbum que saldrá a finales de este año, que consiste en un parche de clavecín y un instrumento de laúd clavicordio Neupert y que es la interacción de dos melodías.

“Wirkung” es un paisaje sonoro con viñetas ambientales en las que asoman polvo cósmico, un tanto gélido, con tintes metálicos pero al mismo tiempo sencillamente encantador. Basta escuchar “elagnt” para guardárselo como tesoro.

"Tides" (City Center-Offices, 2000) was a seminal electronic music album of the 2000s composed by Berlin artist Uwe Zahn. It was characterized by its electro, ambient sound that was under the IDM (Intelligent dance Music) style and with the DIY working attitude.

After nearly a decade in which he put his music on hold, Zahn is back with collaborative works with Hior Chronik and Porya Hatami, various albums and solo EP's on labels such as n5MD, Ether Editions and Echocord.

"Wirkung" that translated into Spanish is effect, it is reflected in Arovane’s music, who has been influenced by romanticism, doing a work, "individualistic, emotional, dramatic and, often, programmatic."

Very few rhythmic forays are seen on the album, concentrating on symphonic forms, forming ambient zones for deep listening and immersing yourself in the beautiful details of the harmonies.

Interesting is the last track on this album, “komposition no. 1 "which according to Zahn is a bridge to the future with the album due out later this year, which consists of a harpsichord patch and a Neupert clavichord lute instrument, which is the interaction of two melodies.

"Wirkung" is a soundscape with ambient vignettes in which cosmic dust appears, somewhat icy, with metallic overtones but at the same time simply charming. Just hear "elagnt" to keep it as a treasure.
