Con motivo de la pandemia este año no fue posible la realización del festival Berlin Atonal que reúne a la nueva música electrónica que, en esta oportunidad se edita por el sello homónimo en formato de vinilo y CD. 

"More Light" congrega a 19 proyectos diferentes que representan a 14 nacionalidades y más de 30 años de experiencia musical.

Este compilatorio comienza con una de las prometedoras propuestas a cargo del egipcio Abdullah Miniawy y el trío alemán Carl Gari. Aquí la cautivadora voz de Miniawy se funde con los suaves pulsos rítmicos del trío. Aho Ssan + Exzald S en la línea de Abbys X, con distintas pistas con voces traslapadas y manipuladas de Exzald S. Alessandro Adriani propone inquietantes línea de bajo y sutiles beats produciendo una atmósfera encantadora. Altar, el nuevo proyecto de Roly Porter y Paul Jebanasam ofrece expansión, con ribetes nostálgicos y una línea ambiental armoniosa. La italiana Caterina Barbieri entrega sinuosas notas a través de su sintetizador modular que producen espirales infinitos. Dbridge trae un hipnótico ritmo con sutiles latigazos. Galya Bisengalieva invita a observar un bello paisaje de tonos suaves de ambient junto a una sesión de cuerdas. Laurel Halo crea un hermoso lenguaje de cuerdas que se funde entre sí. Nkisi y su gabber se acompaña de una deslizante línea ambiental, dos características que podrían se antagónicas pero que aquí hacen simbiosis. Pablo’s Eye crea abstracciones electrónicas con una asombrosa profundidad emocional. Shackleton con su proyecto Tunes of Negation (con Raphael Meinhart y Takumi Motokawa) despliegan una electrónica con aires orientales y ribetes psicodélicos. Una mezcla que hace que Tunes of Negation sea uno de los proyectos más interesantes del momento. La electrónica minimalista de Gerald Donald (Drexciya, Dopplereffekt) con su seudónimo XOR Gate, expresa con su síntesis modular sonidos fragmentados e hiperactivos.

Sin lugar a dudas “Berlin Atonal” representa la escena de sonidos electrónicos de avanzada a escala global.

Due to the pandemic this year it was not possible to hold the Berlin Atonal festival, which brings together new electronic music, published by the Berlin Atonal label on vinyl and CD format.

"More Light" brings together 19 different projects representing 14 nationalities and more than 30 years of musical experience.

This compilation begins with one of the promising proposals by Egyptian Abdullah Miniawy and the German trio Carl Gari. Here Miniawy's captivating voice blends with the trio's soft rhythmic pulses. Aho Ssan + Exzald S in the Abbys X vein, work with multitracks overlapping and manipulated voices of Exzald S. Alessandro Adriani proposes haunting bass lines and subtle beats producing a charming atmosphere. Altar, the new project by Roly Porter and Paul Jebanasam offers expansion, with nostalgic edges and a harmonious environmental lines. Italy's Caterina Barbieri delivers sinuous notes through her modular synthesizer that produce endless spirals. Dbridge brings a hypnotic beat with subtle lashes. Galya Bisengalieva invites you to observe a beautiful landscape of soft ambient tones along with a string session. Laurel Halo creates a beautiful string language that blends into one another. Nkisi and his gabber is accompanied by a sliding environmental line, two characteristics that could be antagonistic but that here are symbiosis. Pablo’s Eye craft environmental electronic abstractions with an uncanny depth. Shackleton with her project Tunes of Negation (with Raphael Meinhart and Takumi Motokawa) displays electronics with oriental shades and psychedelic edges. A mix that makes Tunes of Negation one of the most interesting projects of the moment. The minimalist electronics of Gerald Donald (Drexciya, Dopplereffekt) with his pseudonym XOR Gate, expresses fragmented and hyperactive sounds with the modular synthesis.
