Cernichov es un dúo compuesto por el escritor y artista Marco Mazzucchelli (Milan) and David Gutman (EE.UU.) quien tiene los proyectos Tropic of Coldness y Drawing Virtual Gardens en las vertientes electroacustica y dark ambient, respectivamente.

David incursiona en los campos de la música electroacústica y dark-ambient con diferentes proyectos bajo los apodos Tropic of Coldness y Drawing Virtual Gardens. Sus trabajos se han editado en los sellos Cathedral Transmission, Midira, Time Released Sound, Glacial Movements, Shimmering Records, Flaming Pines y Krysalisound. En este tiempo extraño y sombrío que pende de un hilo por un virus sin vida, es e telón de fondo perfecto para la música de Cernichov. Cuyas capas y texturas llenas de polvo y escombros, contienen retazos de guitarras ambientales, oscuros teclados ambientales y coros, produciendo tensas atmósferas que llenan el espacio de una nebulosa. No obstante, también tenemos momentos en los cuales podemos viajar y quedarnos levitando y dejarnos llevar por esa quejumbrosa guitarra de “Dissipated Poets”. 

Cernichov encarna con su música los revueltos tiempos que estamos viviendo. Quizás el presagio de tiempos decadentes.

David ventures into the fields of electroacoustic and dark-ambient music with different projects under the monikers Tropic of Coldness and Drawing Virtual Gardens. In this strange and gloomy times hanging by a thread by a lifeless virus, it is the perfect backdrop for Cernichov's music. Whose layers and textures full of dust and debris, contain scraps of ambient guitars, dark ambient keyboards and choruses, producing tense atmospheres that fill the space of a nebula. However, we also have moments when we can travel and stay levitating and get carried away by that whiny guitar from "Dissipated Poets."

Cernichov embodies with his music the troubled times we are living in. Perhaps the fortoken of decadent times.
