Este es un nuevo disco del sello danés Posh Isolation que está conducido por Christian Stadsgaard y Loke Rahbek en 2009. Con sede en Copenhague, Posh Isolation se centra en presentar trabajos de artistas escandinavos.
Loke Rahbek es más conocido por su proyecto Croatian Amor y Frederik Valentin por su peculiar grupo de pop Kyo. Stadsgaard y Rahbek también trabajan juntos como Damien Dubrovnik.
Loke Rahbek y Frederik Valentin colaboran nuevamente después de su álbum "Buy Corals Online" de 2017 y en este nuevo LP “Elephant” el dúo combina la acústica, la electrónica y los registros de campo, mostrando pasajes ambient junto a un pop onírico.
En este disco se hace una magistral combinación entre los sonidos acústicos y electrónicos. Revisa “In Waves ft. CTM” donde el chelo corre un velo de terciopelo seductor, mientras un ruido interferencia hace de contrapunto. “Elephant” se eleva por todo lo alto con una melodía épica en tanto que un ruido de fondo distorsionado persiste en el horizonte.
“Scarlett” es quizás la pieza clave de este disco con su guitarra acústica que teje una melodía ensoñadora, en cuyo fondo unos omnipresentes bajos son el sustento, junto a una sinuosas notas de sintetizador que le dan forma y consistencia a esta bella canción.
Loke Rahbek y Frederik Valentin y la plataforma Posh Isolation prometen mostrar nuevos bríos en la música electrónica.

This is a new album by the Danish label Posh Isolation which was cofounded by Christian Stadsgaard and Loke Rahbek in 2009. Based in Copenhagen, Posh Isolation focuses on presenting works from Scandinavian artists.
Loke Rahbek is best known for his project Croatian Amor and Frederik Valentin for his peculiar pop group Kyo. Stadsgaard and Rahbek also work together as Damien Dubrovnik.
Loke Rahbek and Frederik Valentin collaborate again after their album "Buy Corals Online" of 2017 and in this new LP "Elephant" the duo combines acoustics, electronics and field recordings, unfolding ambient passages along with dream pop.
On this album a masterful combination between acoustic and electronic sounds is made. Check “In Waves ft. CTM” where the cello runs a veil of seductive velvet, while an interference noise acts as a counterpoint. "Elephant" rises all the way high with an epic melody while distorted background noise persists on the horizon.
"Scarlett" is perhaps the key piece of this album with its acoustic guitar that weaves a dreamy melody, in whose background some ubiquitous bass are the sustenance, along with a sinuous synthesizer notes that give form and consistency to this beautiful song.
Loke Rahbek and Frederik Valentin and the Posh Isolation platform promise to show new verve in electronic music.
