The reason for this compilation is to celebrate 10 years of Stroboscopic Artefacts label existence, run by Italian artist Luca Mortellaro and curator of this various artists that shows different nuances of advanced techno.
Mortellaro appears with his pseudonym Lucy, who collaborates with Rrose as Lotus Eater and together with Speedy J as Zeitgeber. Also featured in this compilation are prominent artists from the underground scene of the mid-1990s such as Luke Slater with his moniker L.B. Dub Corp and James Ruskin.
"Paralysed Spheres" by Denise Rabe with an epic character proposes the experimental side of this compilation and "From Here On" is the classic techno by James Ruskin.
On the basis of 4/4 immersive rhythms, subtle bits of noise and loops along with dark ambient lines create hypnotic rhythms and for this you just have to get carried away by Zeitgeber's “Double Down” or Lotus Eater's “Tripholium” and “The Myth Of Purity” by Rrose, three fine pieces with the best techno of the moment.
