“Moments”, es la tercera obra del compositor de Nueva York Michael Vincent Waller que es interpretada por el pianista R. Andrew Lee y el vibrafonista William Winant. “Moments” es precedido por “Trajectories” (Recital, 2017) y “The South Shore” (XI, 2015).
La propuesta se enmarca en la música clásica en la que el piano muestra una faceta rítmica y austeridad minimalista.
La música de Waller se relaciona con la de Harold Budd, Erik Satie y La Monte Young entre otros artistas.
El color pastel de las cuerdas, la resonancia que emite evoca a los “momentos” memoriales de Waller, con intervalos de alegría y nostalgia.
“Moments” invita al oyente a buscar aquellos espacios de silencio e instrospección con música que desgarra por su sutil belleza.
