JP Hasson aka JP Inc. es un músico, comediante y artista, afincado en Los Angeles, activo desde principios de los ’90. También produce giras relacionadas con la comedia, la música y la televisión. Ha editado varios discos en Imputor?, Million Dollar Performances y Comedy Central Records.

En la nota de prensa de este lanzamiento se indica expresamente que: “Este CD es sólo para fines de relajación” y desde luego se siente así, desplegando diez piezas de ambient enraizadas en la New Age. 

“Massage & Spa” apertura con “Scented Candles” en la que se aprecia una nube de sintezadores y grabaciones de cantos de pájaros. “Wet Pebbles In A Bowl” incluye grabaciones de corrientes de agua, junto a pads de sintetizadores que generan expectación. La música se desenvuelve casi en sigilo e invita a escuchar con calma. “Gentle Aromas” entrega melodías edificantes que toman forma casi cortesana en “Warmed Towels”, como si fuera una danza medieval. “Hair & Scalp” crea una atmósfera algo inquietante, mientras que “Privacy” se sumerge con líneas de bajo profundo, casi inaudibles. En “Sterilized Headrest” las corrientes de agua recorren un bello jardín que tiene flores preciosas, junto a las líneas ambientales expansivas. “Selection Of Fine Body Oils” y las grabaciones del ambiente crean momentos propicios para la relajación, en tanto “Shoulders” conmueve con sus melodías que iluminan para dar paso a “Hot Stones” con el sonido de las olas y las aves que vuelan a lo más alto. Allí es donde nos invita JP Inc. para permanecer y disfrutar.

“Massage & Spa” opens with “Scented Candles” in which a cloud of synthesizers and recordings of bird chirps can be listened. “Wet Pebbles In A Bowl” includes recordings of water currents, along with synth pads that deploys expectation. The music unfolds almost in stealth and invites you to listen calmly. “Gentle Aromas” delivers uplifting melodies that take almost courtly form in “Warmed Towels,” as if it were a medieval dance piece. “Hair & Scalp” creates a somewhat eerie atmosphere, while “Privacy” dives with deep, almost inaudible bass lines. In “Sterilized Headrest” the water currents run through a beautiful garden with lovely flowers, alongside expansive ambience. “Selection Of Fine Body Oils” and the field recordings create moments conducive to relaxation, while “Shoulders” moves with its melodies that illuminate to give way to “Hot Stones” with wavery sound and birds flying by the highest.
