Este compilado fue curado por Eleni Ikoniadou, investigadora en Cultura Digital y Artes Sónicas en la universidad pública con sede en Londres, la Royal College of Art que contiene cinco remezclas de AGF, Chino Amobi, Harrga, Savvas Metaxas, Trustfall y Lafawndah. Esta propuesta – cercana al arte sonoro – comprende una colección de lecturas, palabras habladas, sonidos no lingüísticos, poesía, MC, violonchelo y sonidos de animales que son procesadas para reconvertirlos, generando una nueva voz que habla un idioma no humano.

La remezcla de la música, compositora y productora alemana AGF (Antye Greie) es una amalgama de sonidos que requiere una atenta escucha que comprende textos hablados, sonidos de animales, voces y texturas electrónicas, algunas de ellas son pequeños ruidos que se retuercen y pululan alrededor. Algunos de esos textos plantea una buena pregunta: “¿Cómo puedo actuar el silencio? “Emmanuel II” del músico experimental norteamericano Chino Amobi, despliega una atmósfera de bordes abrasivos en la que asoma un texto indistinguible y agonizante pero es sutilmente bello. La remezcla de “En nous vivants les morts” por Harrga presenta un texto oscuro que se combina con despavoridos gritos espeluznante. En “Animal Mourning” compuesto por Lafawndah & Trustfall muestra voces procesadas, al parecer con un vocoder. El texto también habla de una historia de perdida: la muerte de un animal bebe. Cerrando este compilado con “40 Days” de Savvas Metaxas asoman voces entrecortadas y repetitivas que no articulan una frase, mientras emergen ruidos de animales y un chelo frota sus cuerdas que se mueven vacilantes, creando una atmósfera inquietante.

En “Future Chorus” se yergue un nuevo lenguaje que comprende nuevos medios como las tecnologías de la comunicación, por las que se transmiten - en este disco - mensajes e ideas relativas a la muerte, el dolor, el maltrato animal.

This compilation was curated by Eleni Ikoniadou, a researcher in Digital Culture and Sonic Arts at the London-based public university, the Royal College of Art and contains five remixes by AGF, Chino Amobi, Harrga, Savvas Metaxas, Trustfall and Lafawndah. This proposal – close to sound art – consist in a collection of readings, spoken words, non-linguistic sounds, poetry, MCing, cello and animal sounds which are processed to reconvert them, generating a new voice that speaks a non-human language.

The remix of German musician, composer, producer, poet AGF (Antye Greie) remix is an amalgamation of sounds that requires careful listening, comprising spoken text, animal sounds, voices and electronic textures, some of which are small noises hovering around. Some of those texts raise a good question: “How can I perform silence?”. “Emmanuel II” by American experimental musician Chino Amobi, displays an atmosphere with abrasive edges in which an indistinguishable and dying text surges, nevertheless, it is subtly beautiful. The remix of “En nous vivants les morts” by Harrga features a dark text that is combined with terrifying, blood-curdling screams. On “Animal Mourning” composed by Lafawndah & Trustfall showcases processed voices, apparently with a vocoder. The text also tells of a story of loss: the death of a baby animal.

Rounding off this compilation is “40 Days” by Savvas Metaxas which unfurls broken and repetitive voices that do not articulate a phrase, while animal noises emerge and a cello rubs its strings that move unsteadily, creating an unsettling atmosphere.

On "Future Chorus" stands a new language that includes new media such as communication technologies, through which messages and ideas are transmitted - on this record – about death, pain and animal abuse.
