El sello británico Cruel Nature Records publica en diciembre último el segundo álbum de Peter Lersch aka Todeskino, en una tirada limitada en formato cassette. 

“MMMiniatures” consiste en seis tracks que evocan la electrónica de los '90, en la prevalecen los sonidos minimalistas de sintetizador, las atmósferas cálidas, las pulsaciones rítmicas suaves y las melodías edulcoradas. Esta música me recuerda a los artistas del sello norteamericano Audio Dregs, como Lullatone, Inkblot, o la etiqueta de Berlín Morr Music con ISAN, Manual. 

“Bitorchestra” tiene un aire de la synth wave, en tanto que “Burnt Toast Mountain Chain” tiene un marcado acento electropop. “Pink Chewing Gum“ desarrolla lentamente las melancólicas notas sintetizadas, mientras que “Versatiles” muestra sus melodías edificantes. “Blue Moon Red Alcove” se mueve relajadamente en un baño de olas ambient. “Porcelain Tiger” con sus líneas ambientales cierra un álbum acogedor y armonioso con un bello telón de fondo envolvente.

The British label Cruel Nature Records released last December the second album by Peter Lersch aka Todeskino, in a limited run-in cassette format.

“MMMiniatures” consists of six tracks that conjure up the 90s electronica, where minimalistic synthesizer sounds and warm atmospheres unfurl, along with soft rhythmic pulsations and sweetened melodies. The music reminds me of the artists belonging to the American Audio Dregs imprint, such as Lullatone, Inkblot, or the Berlin based Morr Music label with ISAN, Manual.

"Bitorchestra" It has a synth wave-esque feel to it, while “Burnt Toast Mountain Chain” has a strong electropop twang. “Pink Chewing Gum” slowly develops the melancholic synth notes, while “Versatiles” shows off its uplifting melodies. “Blue Moon Red Alcove” moves leisurely into wave ambient bashes whereas “Porcelain Tiger” with its synth lines closes a cozy and harmonious album with a blissful enveloping backdrop.
