El músico sueco Johan Risberg aka a>m con casi treinta años de carrera musical, ha sido miembro de la banda Hell on Wheels, con quienes se ha ido de gira por todo el mundo. También toca con stumm/risberg y LSD.

Su música tiene raíces en grupos /artistas de los estilos industrial y post-punk tales como Cabaret Voltaire, Neon Judgement, Suicide, Throbbing Gristle, Fad Gadget y Nocturnal Emissions. Desde su arranque con “Cut You Up!” y “The New Sound of Europe” ya pueden evidenciarse las influencias de la synth-wave con esa característica oscuridad provocadora. “Class Recordings” incursiona en territorios de los corredores cósmicos alemanes, en tanto que “We Are Nothing” recrea las ensoñadoras atmósferas de Joy Division. “And I Swung the Hammer”, “What Wonderful Arrogance” y “Where Do We Go” se aproximan al electro, mientras que “Revolution” tiene una fuerte influencia del post-punk. 

Este álbum también será lanzado como una edición limitada de vinilo por Alvaret Tape Rekordings y Transmission Boutique Label en Londres.

Es evidente que Johan Risberg tiene una larga trayectoria musical y eso queda más que demostrado en este álbum, pues crea con facilidad ambientes cautivadores, haciendo omnipresentes los impulsos rítmicos y envolventes melodías.

Swedish musician Johan Risberg aka a>m with almost thirty years of musical career, has been a member of the band Hell on Wheels, with whom he has travelled around the world on tour. He also plays with stumm/risberg and LSD. 

His music has roots in industrial and post-punk bands/artists such as Cabaret Voltaire, Neon Judgment, Suicide, Throbbing Gristle, Fad Gadget and Nocturnal Emissions. The opener “Cut You Up!” and "The New Sound of Europe" are influenced by the synth-wave that already have that characteristic provocative darkness. “Class Recordings” ventures into the territories of the German cosmic corridors, while “We Are Nothing” recreates the dreamy atmospheres of Joy Division. “And I Swung the Hammer”, “What Wonderful Arrogance” and “Where Do We Go” approach electro, while “Revolution” has a strong post-punk influence.

The album will also be released as a limited vinyl edition by Alvaret Tape Rekordings and Transmission Boutique Label in London.

It is evident that Johan Risberg has a long musical career and that is more than demonstrated in this album, as he easily creates captivating atmospheres, omnipresent rhythmic impulses and enveloping and dreamy melodies.
