Jorgen Gustafsson aka Betweenness de Jönköping, Suecia, cuenta con dos álbumes editados en North Of No South Records y en mayo 2021 se publicó el EP "Inch" por el sello establecido en Berlín/Estambul, The Magic Movement, que editó también recientemente el EP "Lull". 

Como su anterior EP “Inch”, “Lull”, continúa en la vena ambient a través del uso de sintetizadores analógicos que llevan a este EP a la deriva cinemática que se plasma 

en el video oficial para "Ripples" - uno de los tracks de este EP -, realizado por Shaun Lee que muestra un mundo natural de color verde donde predominan los peces, los templos (de la antigüedad) y las plantas. Una historia recogida de un libro sagrado, donde un ser animado tiene encuentros con otros y que finalmente emerge del tablet de un dibujante. Un personaje que nace de un libro y que vuelve a reaparecer en el mundo digital. “Smatter” y otros tracks de este EP evocan la nostalgia como la emoción predominante, así también las sigilosas e inquietantes líneas de bajo y de sintetizadoras ambientales de “Unnerve”. La remezcla de “Hialos” a cargo de Johannes Klingebiel de Colonia, pone la nota rítmica a este EP en estilo techno-house refrescante y necesario para mover nuestro cuerpo y mente también. 

Jorgen Gustafsson vuelve a mostrar su fascinación por los paisajes sonoros cargados de imágenes oníricas.

Jorgen Gustafsson aka Betweenness from Jönköping, Sweden, has two albums released on North Of No South Records and in May 2021 the EP "Inch" was released by Berlin/Istanbul based label The Magic Movement, who also recently released the EP "Lull".

Like his previous EP “Inch”, “Lull”, he continues in the ambient vein through the use of analog synthesizers that lead this EP to the cinematic drift that is reflected

in the official video for "Ripples" - one of the tracks on this EP -, directed by Shaun Lee. He showcase a green natural world dominated by fishes, temples (of antiquity) and plants. A story collected from a sacred book, where an animated being has encounters with others and finally emerges from a cartoonist's tablet. A character that comes out from an ancient book and who reappears in the digital world. “Smatter” and other tracks on this EP conjure up nostalgia as the predominant emotion, as do “Unnerve's” creepy, brooding bass lines and ambient synths. Cologne Johannes Klingebiel’s “Hialos” remix puts the rhythmic note to this EP in a refreshing techno-house style, necessary to move our body and mind as well.

Jorgen Gustafsson once again shows his fascination for soundscapes full of dreamlike images.
