Este es el quinto lanzamiento en el sello de Los Angeles Lo Bit Landscapes de NIHITI, afincado en Brooklyn (revisa la entrevista en loop aquí: http://www.loop.cl/content/view/1758/26/), quien desde hace más de una década viene produciendo música.

“Sustained” fue encargado por el festival “Sustain-Release” (considerado el mejor festival de música en EE.UU. hoy en día, según el sitio web Resident Advisor).

Este álbum consiste en tres piezas de largo desarrollo con guiños al ambient/drone junto a la creación de atmósferas y líneas sintéticas penetrantes. 

“Stellar Observer” que abre el disco son ondas sonoras que se aproximan y se alejan, como las olas que se forman en el mar y que luego se recogen en diminutas olas para seguir luego con su ciclo natural. Las líneas ambientales de sintetizador continúan con un flujo de expansión y contracción, destilando pura belleza en sus sublimes melodías. Son 21 largos minutos aprox. en los que se sienten como si estuviéramos levitando. El segundo track, “Tetra chrome” comienza con un bálsamo de ambient y drones en el que se despliegan bordes algo distorsionados que navegan por el espacio. La sensación aquí es de expansión, donde no hay límites.

“If The Color” que completa este álbum fue coproducido con el artista visual y músico Viktor Timofeev, asiduo colaborador de NIHITI. En este track una voz cavernosa se sumerge en un loop que teje un ambiente oscuro que se profundiza con la guitarra E-bow de Timofeev, junto a las turbias y alteradas voces.

NIHITI con este álbum pone el listón más alto por su despliegue de épicas líneas de teclados que invitan al oyente a un viaje misterioso y atractivo.

This is the fifth installment on the Los Angeles label Lo Bit Landscapes by Brooklyn-based artist NIHITI (check the loop interview here: http://www.loop.cl/content/view/1758/26/), who since He has been producing music for more than a decade.

“Sustained” was commissioned for the “Sustain-Release” festival considered the best music festival in the US today according to the Resident Advisor website.

This album consists of three pieces of long development with nods to ambient, together with the creation of atmospheres and penetrating synth lines.

“Stellar Observer” that opens the album unfurls sound waves that approach and move away, like the waves that form in the sea and that are then collected in tiny waves that still follow their natural cycle. The ambient synth lines continue their flow of expanding and contracting, distilling sheer beauty into their sublime melodies. They are 21 long minutes approx. in which they feel as if we are levitating. The second track, "Tetra chrome" begins with a balm of ambient and drones in which somewhat distorted edges unfold that navigate through space. The feeling here is one of expansion, where there are no limits.

Rounding off the album, “If The Color” was co-produced by visual artist and musician Viktor Timofeev, a regular NIHITI collaborator. In this track, a cavernous voice is submerged in a loop that weaves a dark atmosphere that deepens with Timofeev's E-bow guitar, along with murky and altered voices.

NIHITI with this album sets the bar higher for its display of epic keyboard lines that invite the listener to a mysterious and attractive trip.
