El artista sonoro italiano Alessandro Tedeschi aka Netherworld publica su noveno álbum en solitario en su sello Glacial Movements fundado en 2006, afincado en Roma, especializado en ambient y paisajes sonoros árticos electrónicos. Figuran en su sello importantes artistas como Scanner, Chihei Hatakeyama, Rapoon, Paul Schütze y Machinefabriek, entre otros.

"Vanishing Lands" que consiste en siete temas los que están inspirados en los parajes gélidos en los que se forman glaciares y icebergs que se están deshielando con el paso del tiempo, e incluso su proceso se ha acelerado desde el 2000 con el cambio climático. Afortunadamente en el extremo sur de Chile y Argentina es posible todavía visitar estas frías y grandes extensiones de hielo. 

Los paisajes sonoros en este disco están cargados de una bella melancolía, junto con oscuras texturas electrónicas, que bien describen los paisajes congelados y muchas veces olvidados por el ser humano.

Italian sound artist Alessandro Tedeschi aka Netherworld releases his ninth solo album on his Rome-based Glacial Movements label founded in 2006, specialized in ambient and electronic arctic soundscapes. Renown artists such as Scanner, Chihei Hatakeyama, Rapoon, Paul Schütze and Machinefabriek, among others, are part of the roster of this imprint.

"Vanishing Lands" which consists of seven tracks that are inspired by the frozen places where glaciers and icebergs are formed. These are melting over time, and even their process has accelerated since 2000 with the climate change. Fortunately, in the extreme south of Chile and Argentina, it is still possible to visit these cold and large extensions of ice.

The soundscapes on this album are charged with beautiful melancholic melodies, along with dark electronic textures that describe the frozen landscapes often forgotten by human being.
