El artista sonoro chileno Jimmy Pizarro, al frente de Nocuedo Editions, publica la segunda referencia del sello. Esta vez se trata de SPRO, su nuevo proyecto. La primera referencia de esta etiqueta fue "Criuk" (2021) de INSECTO.

“Bilac” fue editado recientemente en vinilo y consiste en cinco temas. Abre “Ashcka” arropado de sinuosos tonos, algunos glitches, estática y pequeños sonidos comprimidos y angulosos que entran y salen. “Arapd” comienza con una línea sintética esbozando una melodía que se retuercen de cuando en cuando, clicks como trasfondo configurando un engranaje que avanza y retrocede rápidamente. La posibilidad de atrapar a algunos de estos sonidos no se vuelve tarea fácil, porque su desarrollo es vertiginoso aunque su escucha parece ser una pieza ralentizada. “Bripttu” entra en una zona más holgada y expansiva con atisbos al ambient, así como en “Butone”, no obstante en éste último, aparecen algunas voces insinuando tímidamente algunos pulsos rítmicos. Completando este disco con “Barroc”, las notas vacilantes del teclado crean cierta tensión en un álbum que navega entre la abstracción y las atmósferas inquietantes.

Chilean sound artist Jimmy Pizarro, head of Nocuedo Editions, publishes the second reference of the label. This time it's about SPRO, his new project. The first reference of this label was 'Criuk' (2021) by INSECTO.

'Bilac' was recently released on vinyl and consists of five tracks. The opener 'Ashcka' is wrapped up by sinuous tones, some glitches, static and small compressed and angular sounds that come and go. “Arapd” begins with a synthetic line outlining a melody that twists from time to time, clicks as a background setting up a gear that moves quickly forwards and backwards. The possibility of capturing some of these sounds is not an easy task, because their development is vertiginous, although their listening seems to be a slowed-down piece. “Bripttu” enters a looser and more expansive zone with hints of ambient, as well as in 'Butone', however in the latter, some voices emerge timidly insinuating some driving pulses. Rounding off this album with 'Barroc', the hesitant keyboard notes unfold a certain tension in an album that navigates between abstraction and disturbing atmospheres.
