Un nuevo lanzamiento del músico y productor germano Wolfgang Röttger aka Morgen Wurde y Christian Schmidt aka Tis, esta vez en el sello de Edinburgo Werra Foxma Rec. María Estrella Aggabao, cantante residente en Florida, quien colabora con Röttger desde 2015 en varios de sus discos, acompaña con su preciosa voz, el ambient y el techno minimalista del dúo.

“Watch” arranca con un suave beat, líneas ambientales, flotantes notas de piano, rasgueos de guitarra y sonidos grabados del ambiente.

Tracks como “Brennt” muestra un collage de ruidos oblicuos y abstractos, donde las armonías relevan su faceta oscuro, mientras, un beat hipnótico continua galopando. En “Gewahrt” los movimientos ocurren lentamente junto a las temblorosas cuerdas de la guitarra eléctrica que se sumergen en el ambient. La maravillosa voz de María Estrella (bello nombre) aparece en “Findet”, "Geweiht" y “Lässt Ios” como si fuera sacada del cielo nos invita a bailar hasta el amanecer,  porque el beat 4/4 permanece sostenido como telón de fondo, recordándonos que la música de baile tiene todavía mucha vida por delante.

A new release by German musician and producer Wolfgang Röttger aka Morgen Wurde and Christian Schmidt aka Tis, this time on the Edinburgh label Werra Foxma Rec. María Estrella Aggabao, a singer based in Florida, who has collaborated with Röttger since 2015 on several of his records, accompanies the duo's ambient and minimalist techno with her gorgeous vocals.

“Watch” kicks off with a smooth beat, ambient lines, floating piano notes, guitar strums, and recorded ambient sounds.

Tracks in the likes of “Brennt” showcase a collage of oblique and abstract noises, where the harmonies reveal their dark side, while a hypnotic beat continues galloping. In “Gewahrt” the movements occur slowly along with the trembling strings of the electric guitar that dig deep into the ambient. The beautiful vocals of María Estrella (beautiful name) appears in “Findet”, "Geweiht" and “Lässt Ios” as if it were taken from heaven, inviting us to dance until dawn, alongwith the 4/4 beat that remains as a backdrop, reminding us that dance music still has a lot of life ahead of it.
