La vocalista y artista sonora Iu Takahashi oriunda de Kanagawa, Japón está radicada en Tokio y tiene cinco discos editados, además de trabajos en los que compone la música de fondo para cortometrajes e instalaciones.

Nuestra protagonista declara que este disco fue realizado con pocas notas y por lo mismo su creatividad está presente en cada instante en el que desliza los teclados ambientales, frota algunas cuerdas del piano y de la guitarra desprendiendo algunos destellos y ecos. Todo ello se plasma sutilmente en “bath” que abre este EP, a un ritmo pausado, dándole espacio al silencio. “Gallery window” que tiene textura de drones que pueblan el ambiente. En “Gallery window” las notas ambientales sintetizadas flotan en el aire creando una atmósfera apacible. Y cierre este EP “Ma”, que en japonés significa brecha, aunque en el ámbito sonoro, el xilófono o similar, con sus tonos brillantes no producen ninguna sombra.

La música de Iu Takahashi permite generar una experiencia inmersiva que estimula la imaginación del oyente.

Vocalist and sound artist Iu Takahashi from Kanagawa, Japan is based in Tokyo where he lives and work releasing so far five albums, as well as pieces in which she composes the background music for short films and installations.

Our protagonist declares that this album was made with few notes and therefore her creativity is present in every moment in which she slides the ambient keyboards, rubs some piano and guitar strings giving off some flashes and echoes. All of this is subtly captured in the EP opener “bath”, at a leisurely pace, giving space to silence. "Gallery window" unfurls a texture of drones that populate the environment and synthesized ambient notes, float in the air creating a peaceful atmosphere. "Ma" that closes this EP, which in Japanese means gap, although in the sound field, the xylophone or similar, with its bright tones do not produce any shadow.

Iu Takahashi's music allows to generate an immersive experience that stimulates the listener's imagination.
