Un nuevo disco del músico caditano David Cordero y número 19 de su discografía que autoedita en una tira limitada de 50 copias en formato de cassette y que fue masterizado por Ian Hawgood quien dirige el sello Home Normal.

El título del nuevo álbum "Quiet music for insomniacs” es consistente con las seis piezas de ambient que podemos apreciar y disfrutar a un ritmo pausado, dejando de lado las prisas a que nos vemos envueltos y que muchas veces aceptamos que nos controlen. Digo esto porque esta música afortunadamente existe para quienes valoran que a partir de unos pocos acordes de guitarra y unas notas sintetizadas ambientales, podamos sentirnos cómodos y dejarnos llevar por las sublimes melodías que se deslizan en “Narcotic soul”.  

Nuestro protagonista con esta música releva el silencio como una forma de plantearse en el entorno, un rasgo tan personal como íntimo de cara a relacionarse con otros. ¡Viva el silencio!

A new album by Caditan musician David Cordero and number 19 of his discography that he self-release in a limited run of 50 copies in cassette format and that was mastered by Ian Hawgood who runs the Home Normal imprint.

The title of the new album "Quiet music for insomniacs" is consistent with the six pieces of ambient that we can appreciate and enjoy at a leisurely pace, leaving aside the rush we are involved in and that many times we accept to control us. I say this because the music fortunately exists for those who value that from a few guitar chords and some ambient synthesized notes, we can feel comfortable and let ourselves be carried away by the sublime melodies that slide in “Narcotic soul”.

Our protagonist with this music reveals silence as a way of posing in the environment, a trait that is as personal as it is intimate in order to interact with others. Long live the silence!
