La multiinstrumentista sueca (batería, violines, guitarras, piano, electronica y voz) Josefin Runsteen, es una música muy versátil quien es activa en la escena del jazz / vanguardia, participa en giras de grupos indie/pop y fue invitada como violinista solista a tocar en la Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra.

“HANA - Three bodies” (original soundtrack) es una banda sonora para una pieza de danza Butoh realizada por el coreógrafo / bailarín Frauke. Está dedicada a los 5 elementos (aire, tierra, agua, fuego y vacío), mezclando principalmente electrónica con elementos de música ambient, clásica moderna, post-rock, experimental y guiños al pop.

Este álbum comienza con “Secret Garden”, una pieza de ambient de tonos brillantes, cantos de pájaros y en donde planean las notas del sintetizador. 

En “Coldburn” de suaves ritmos palpitantes junto a oscilantes sintetizadores modulares, emerge con su voz terciopelada de Runsteen y en la medida que se acerca al final del track, asoman algunos ruidos junto a un soplido soterrado que se transforma en un drone. En “Bloom” en un comienzo el chelo desliza unas suaves notas que no harían presagiar que se convertiría en gruesas y densas capas cuya intensidad se revela a través del climax que alcanza el canto sostenido de Runsteen y la contundencia del sonido. “Sakura” es ecléctico, por una parte el comienzo tienes atisbos a Mike Oldfield, luego se orienta al post-rock para terminar con un collage de loop de tambores y un canto con influencia de música clásica. El ultimo track, “Banyan” comprende una poesía en relación a la belleza de la naturaleza que luego va tomando formas de minimal techno haciendo este final inesperado pero al mismo tiempo muy actual.

Swedish multi-instrumentalist (drums, violins, guitars, piano, electronics, voice) Josefin Runsteen is a very versatile musician who is active in the jazz / avant-garde scene, participates in tours with indie / pop groups and was invited as a solo violinist to play in the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra.

"HANA - Three bodies" (original soundtrack) is a soundtrack for a Butoh dance piece performed by choreographer/dancer Frauke. This is dedicated to the five elements (air, earth, water, fire and void), mixing mainly electronic music with ambient, modern classical, post-rock and experimental and glimpses of pop music.

This album begins with "Secret Garden", a piece of ambient with bright tones, songs of birds where the notes of the synthesizer navigate.

In "Coldburn" the driven rhythms along with oscillating modular synthesizers, she emerges with her velvety voice and as she approaches the end of the track, some noises appear along with an underground blowing that it transforms into a drone. Just starting “Bloom” the cello slides soft notes would not presage that would become into thick and dense layers whose intensity is revealed through the climax reached by Runsteen's sustained singing and the powerful of her sound. “Sakura” is quite eclectic, at the beginning of the track on the one hand there are glimpses of Mike Oldfield , then it turns to post-rock to end together with a drum loop collage and a classical music-influenced song. The last track, “Banyan” comprises a poetry in relation to the beauty of nature that then takes on minimal techno forms, making this ending unexpected but at the same time very current.
