El músico y productor italiano Marco Sartorelli bajo el seudónimo de Marco Shuttle es uno de los artistas más innovadores de la música electrónica underground. Es un referente por el carácter de una propuesta que reúne lo orgánico expresado en una variada percusión con instrumentos acústicos con el tambor de mano persa Tombak, junto a patrones rítmicos electrónicos. Un halo psicodélico hipnótico que incluye grabaciones de campo de aves, corrientes de agua y flautas recogidas en los viajes de Sartorelli.

"Cobalt Desert Oasis" su tercer álbum, es un periplo rodeado de texturas electrónicas a través de la síntesis modular y una percusión primitiva tribal y solapados beats. Pero también tiene momentos de sobriedad y melancolía como en “Polysolation” y sus teclados ambientales. O bien en “Into Thin Air” con sus sinuosas notas sintetizadas y el canto de un pájaro que insinúa una escena de un mundo indómito. 

Marco Sartorelli nos muestra con este disco una interesante mirada del mundo primitivo con los ojos de la electrónica de avanzada.

Italian musician and producer Marco Sartorelli under the moniker Marco Shuttle is one of the most innovative artists in underground electronic music. He is a reference for the character of a proposal that brings together the organic expressed in a varied percussion with acoustic instruments along with the Persian hand drum Tombak, along with electronic rhythmic patterns. A hypnotic psychedelic halo that includes field recordings of birds, wáter streams and flutes collected from Sartorelli's travels.

"Cobalt Desert Oasis", his third album, is a journey surrounded by electronic textures through modular synthesis and primitive tribal percussion and overlapping beats. But it also has moments of sobriety and melancholy as on "Polysolation" and its ambient keyboards. Or in “Into Thin Air” with its sinuous synthesized notes and bird songs that hints at a scene from an untamed world.

Marco Sartorelli crafted with this album an interesting look at the primitive world with the eyes of advanced electronics.
