Domingæ es una música y cineasta chilena que vive en Ciudad de México y que fundó Föllakzoid en 2007, banda que ha sacado ocho discos y ha participado en importantes festivales de Europa, EE.UU y Latinoamérica.

Este es su primer álbum en solitario que compuso durante su estancia en Japón, cuando preparaba una gira mundial y algunos shows para el lanzamiento del LP remix de DJ Nobu. Ocasión también donde comienza a componer “Æ”.

Este álbum de texturas electrónicas minimalistas invita a sumergirse en un paisaje sonoro compuesto de capas de ruidos y chasquidos metálicos, así como de palpitantes ritmos cubiertos por un oscuro manto. El sonido ciertamente es orgánico y prevalece en todo el disco, como los pálpitos del corazón que se transforman en beats que se concatenan entre sí, creando un ritmo hipnótico y seductor como se aprecia en “Daemon “ y “Asaese”. También las atmósferas con sus ecos fantasmales se hacen presentes en “Aeva”, track que abre este LP. 

“Æ” muestra a esta talentosa artista en un momento de gran despliegue creativo.

Domingæ is a Chilean musician and filmmaker who lives in Mexico City and who founded Föllakzoid in 2007, a band that has released eight albums and has participated in important festivals in Europe, the US and Latin America.

This is her first solo album composed during her stay in Japan, when she was preparing a world tour and some shows for the release of DJ Nobu's remix LP. Also occasion to start composing “Æ".

The album of minimalist electronic textures invites the listener to an immersive experience into a soundscape made up of layers of metallic noises and clicks, as well as throbbing rhythms covered by a dark cloak. The sound is certainly organic and prevails throughout the album, like the heart pulsations that are transformed into driving beats concatenated with each other, creating a hypnotic and seductive rhythm as on "Daemon" and "Asaese". The atmospheres with their haunted echoes are also present on “Aeva”, the track that opens this LP.

"Æ" shows this talented artist at a time of great creative unfoldment.
