Ishmael Cormack es una artista sonoro británico que trabaja con objetos encontrados, grabaciones de campo y dispositivos electrónicos, con los cuales crea paisajes sonoros compuestos de pequeños sonidos que evolucionan como si fueran el engranaje de una caja musical.

En una reciente entrevista con Cormack (http://www.loop.cl/content/view/1847/26/) comenta que su música está fuertemente influenciada por el entorno de la rural Somerset en donde vive.

"Many Wild Things" es el segundo disco que edita Cormack este año antes de "Fennec" (KrysaliSound, 2021) y que consiste en un EP de cinco piezas de ambient que crean paisajes sonoros con capas de loop, teclados ambientales, pequeños ruidos, todo ello envuelto en bellas melodías.

Ishmael Cormack is a British sound artist who works with found objects, field recordings and electronic devices, with which he creates soundscapes made up of small sounds that evolve like the cogs in a musical box.

In a recent interview with Cormack (http://www.loop.cl/content/view/1847/26/) he comments that his music is strongly influenced by the rural Somerset environment where he lives.

"Many Wild Things" is Cormack's second release this year before "Fennec" (KrysaliSound, 2021) and consists of an EP of five ambient pieces that create soundscapes with layers of loop, ambient keyboards, small noises, all wrapped up in beautiful melodies.
