El artista sonoro inglés Ishmael Cormack publica su segundo álbum en el sello 

KrysaliSound (fundado en 2010 con el propósito de exponer los proyectos musicales de Francis M. Gri). 

La mayor parte de sus carátulas hacen referencia a la naturaleza y particularmente a árboles, flores y hojas representadas en fotografías y pinturas. Este entorno es parte de su habitat en una pequeña ciudad en Inglaterra donde vive. Combinando elementos electro-acústicos que incluye objetos encontrados y muchos de ellos los utiliza como instrumentos, dispositivos electrónicos y guitarras, para con ello crear bellos paisajes sonoros. Las melancólicas melodías navegan en las tranquilas aguas del ambient, evocando cierta nostalgia junto a grabaciones de campo provenientes del entorno natural. Este sonido está emparentado con el de los artistas del sello Home Normal, Laaps y The Slow Music Movement que exploran ambientes íntimos y sosegados.

“Fennec” es una joya cuyos destellos brillan y nos traen esa paz tan deseada en estos días.

UK sound artist Ishmael Cormack releases his second album on the KrysaliSound record label (founded in 2010 with the purpose of exhibiting the musical projects of Francis M. Gri).

Most of his art covers refer to nature and particularly to trees, flowers and leaves represented by photographs and paintings. This environment is part of his habitat in a small town in England where he lives. Combining electro-acoustic elements that includes found objects that many of them used as instruments, furthermore electronic devices and guitars, creating blissful soundscapes. The melancholic melodies navigate the calm waters of ambient, evoking a certain nostalgia along with field recordings from the natural environment. This sound is related to the artists of Home Normal, Laaps and The Slow Music Movement imprints, who explore intimate and calm environments.

"Fennec" is a jewel whose sparkles shine and bring us that much desired peace these days.
