La música de este álbum se inspiró en la película “Gerry” del director Gus Van Sant. Los tracks de este disco fueron compuestas como parte de la creación de un cine-concierto para el festival de cine “Travelling”.
Dado el largo desarrollo de las tomas por parte de Gus Van Sant, el silencio y la contemplación tienen su lugar y las notas de piano y sintetizador - de rasgos minimalistas - se acoplan perfectamente por su parsimonia y pulcritud. La fragilidad de “Lost” evoca la soledad de un lugar que no existe y la tristeza por la frustración de los protagonistas en este filme. Las notas bajas de “Desert” casi imperceptibles muestran momentos de tensión a la que se enfrentan los personajes caminando por el desierto sin rumbo.
“The Death Valley”, es el final de este viaje a la autoconsciencia de la situación de pérdida y también de la despojarse de la debilidad para salir del naufragio, lo acompañan patrones rítmicos suaves y nostálgicos del piano. La música en “Gerry” es sublime y sobrecoge por su emocionalidad.

The music on this album was inspired by the film "Gerry" by director Gus Van Sant. The tracks on this album were composed as part of the creation of a cine-concert for the “Traveling” film festival.
Given the long development of the takes by Gus Van Sant, silence and contemplation have their place and the piano and synthesizer notes - with minimalist features - are perfectly matched by their parsimony and neatness. The fragility of "Lost" evokes the loneliness of a place that does not exist and the sadness for the frustration of the protagonists in this film. The almost imperceptible minor notes of “Desert” unfold moments of tension faced by the protagonists walking aimlessly through the desert.
"The Death Valley" the end of this journey to self-awareness of the situation of loss and also of shedding weakness to get out of shipwreck, is accompanied by the piano and its soft and nostalgic rhythmic patterns. The music on "Gerry" is sublime and overwhelming for its emotionality.
