Este es el segundo álbum de este dúo después de “Je vous dis” (2018) de la colección «Mind Travel» y «Make Dogs Sing» del sello alemán Offen.

Thierry Merigout, otrora del proyecto experimental de finales de los ’80, Geins’t Naït de Nancy, proviene de la escena postindustrial. Por su parte, Laurent Petitgand, es conocido por su trabajo como compositor de música para películas y shows en vivo, quien ha colaborado con Wim Wenders y Paul Auster.

Este disco es un collage de formas y colores, atmósferas y ruidos, a medio camino entre People Like Us, la faceta melódica de Nurse With Wound y lo inclasificable Pas Musique.

Thierry y Laurent son maestros en su habilidad de introducir samples y grabaciones que canciones de distinta procedencia.  

“Chut” es una de las canciones más melancólicas y bellas de este álbum con su tonada romántica acompañada de una bella y sugerente voz femenina. “22” con un ritmo marcado y atisbos al techno más primitivo, líneas de sintetizador ambientales, envolviendo al oyente en un sonido hipnotizador.

“Bagd” teje una atmósfera confusa con sus sesiones de cuerda y piano, en tanto que desencadena una percusión con acento industrial. 

En sus distintas facetas que tiene este disco, “Dustil” ofrece un nostálgico violín y notas de piano que bien podría ser parte de una banda sonora, así como el furioso “Liber” y el lúdico “37”.  

“Like This Maybe Or This” es un disco hipnotizador, rico en matices con guiños al pasado industrial de los ’80, junto canciones románticas y paisajes sonoros cinemático.

Thierry Merigout, once on the late 1980s experimental project Geins’t Naït de Nancy, hails from the post-industrial scene. For his part, Laurent Petitgand is known for his work as a composer of music for films and live shows, who has collaborated with Wim Wenders and Paul Auster.

This album is a collage of shapes and colors, atmospheres and noises, halfway between People Like Us, the melodic side of Nurse With Wound and the unclassifiable Pas Musique.

Thierry and Laurent are masters in their ability to sample and record songs from different sources.

"Chut" is one of the most melancholic and beautiful songs on this album with its romantic tune accompanied by a beautiful and suggestive female voice. "22" with a strong rhythm and hints of the most primitive techno, ambient synth lines, enveloping the listener in a mesmerizing sound.

“Bagd” weaves a confusing atmosphere with its strings and piano sessions, while unleashing percussion with an industrial accent.

In its different facets that this album has, "Dustil" offers a nostalgic violin and piano notes that could well be part of a soundtrack, as well as the furious "Liber" and the playful "37".

"Like This Maybe Or This" is a hypnotizing album, rich in nuances with nods to the industrial past of the '80s, along with romantic songs and cinematic soundscapes.
