El productor y compositor danés Johan Carøe quien compone música para películas y documentales. 

El sello danés No Tecnique edita su nuevo álbum “Lovesongs” que consiste en siete piezas ambientales construidas a base de sintetizadores y efectos. Colaboran en este disco Nils Gröndahl, Maria Martine Jagd y Clara Tesch en violines, Nicole Hogstrand en viola da gamba y Mads Kjøller-Henningsen tocando flautas.

La música de Carøe transita entre la belleza y la distorsión donde coexisten la música neo clásica, el ambient y la electrónica.

“Is this right” que abre este LP cubre con su manto de nostalgia mientras emergen retazos de sonidos distorsionados que se esparcen por todo el disco y que dada su deconstrucción, se hace difícil de identificar el instrumento.

En “Reset” las sesiones de cuerda devienen entre la tensión y el ocaso, sin embargo en “Hail satan”, hay un renacer grandilocuente con la contundente percusión y el diálogo entre violines, viola y flauta. “So many Gods” es una pieza prístina con elegantes notas de lo que parece sonar como un órgano. En “I Love You” que cierre el álbum y que comienza con un bello ambient, hacia el final del track, Carøe despliega ondulantes notas del sintetizador que muestran la tensión emocional del artista al momento de componer este disco.

Danish producer and composer Johan Carøe composes music for films and documentaries.

The Danish label No Tecnique releases his new album “Lovesongs” that consists of seven ambient pieces made from synthesizers and effects. Collaborating on this album are Nils Gröndahl, Maria Martine Jagd and Clara Tesch on violins, Nicole Hogstrand on viola da gamba and Mads Kjøller-Henningsen playing flutes.

Carøe's music transits between beauty and distortion where neo-classical music, ambient and electronic music coexist.

"Is this right" the opener of this LP covers with its mantle of nostalgia while fragments of distorted sounds emerge are scattered throughout the album and that given its deconstruction, it is difficult to identify the instrument.

On “Reset” the string sessions take place between tension and decline, however in “Hail satan”, there is a bombastic rebirth with the forceful percussion and the dialogue between violins, viola and flute. "So many Gods" is a pristine piece with elegant notes of what appears to sound like an organ. On “I Love You” that closes the album starts with a mesmerizing ambient, towards the end of the piece, Carøe unfolds flickering notes of the synthesizer that show the emotional tension of the artist at the time of writing this album.
