El compositor de música electrónica multi-instrumentista y analógico IIITAIII, con base en Nueva York ha estado activo desde principio de 2000 en la escena experimental y hard core de la Gran Manzana con su banda noise/metal EMOK.

Nuestro protagonista toca el sintetizador modular análogo y también está en vocales en este álbum debut de pop experimental, en donde la melodía y los pulsos rítmicos son una combinación lograda ampliamente. Esta música tiene una mezcla entre el synth pop de los ’80 con las propuestas más actuales de sellos como Stroboscopic Artefacts y Spazio Disponibile con los estilos techno y electro.

Uno de los temas destacados es “Humanoid” - que abre este disco – y que tiene un video promocional (en blanco y negro) que fue filmado y dirigido por Jugoe (Jude Goergen) entre abril y junio en plema pandema en Nueva York, donde muestra una ciudad fría y desolada, junto a lugares emplemáticos. Los potentes bass-drum y la voz distante y melosa de IIITAIII me evocan a Gary Numan. “When It Rains” es otro mágnífico viaje melódico y “Zeros and Twos” que da título a este álbum abre con épicas notas de sintetizador cuyo carácter análogico le dan un carácter cálido e iluminador.

New York-based multi-instrumentalist and analog electronic music composer IIITAIII has been active since the early 2000s on Big Apple’s experimental and hard-core scene with his noise / metal band EMOK.

Our protagonist plays the analog modular synthesizer and is also on vocals on this debut experimental pop album, where melody and the driving rhythms are a highly accomplished combination. This music has a perfect blend between the 80s synth pop and the latest proposals from labels such as Stroboscopic Artefacts and Spazio Disponibile on the techno and electro styles.

One of the highlights is "Humanoid" - which opens this album - and which has a promotional video (in black and white) that was shot and directed by Jugoe (Jude Goergen) between April and June in full pandemic in New York, where it shows a cold and desolate city and emblematic places. IIITAIII's powerful bass-drum and mellow, distant vocals evoke Gary Numan. “When It Rains” is another magnificent melodic journey and “Zeros and Twos” that gives the title to this album, opens with epic synthesizer notes whose analogical character give it a warm and illuminating character.
