Marco Bernacchia es un músico experimental y artista visual de Italia quien tiene estudios de música en saxofón, guitarra eléctrica y estudió pintura en la Academia de Bellas Artes de Urbino. 

Con su seudónimo Above The Tree comienza en 2007 y tiene doce discos a su haber y “King Above” es su más reciente entrega en el que podemos encontrar folk, experimentación y ambient. Los pasajes improvisados a base de acordes de guitarra eléctrica y acústica configuran un interesante diálogo que conlleva cierta abstracción y que es la base de una buena parte de los tracks de este álbum. En otros momentos como “Falling Empire” y “The Grey Cat Dinasty” envuelven con sus densas atmósferas, en tanto la voz de Francesca Amati encierra un halo misterioso por sus textos.

Marco Bernacchia is an experimental musician and visual artist from Italy who has studied music on saxophone, electric guitar and studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Urbino. 

With his pseudonym Above The Tree begins in 2007 and he has twelve albums to his credit and "King Above" is his most recent release where folk, avant-garde an ambient meet. The improvised passages based on electric and acoustic guitar chords make up an interesting dialogue that involves a certain abstraction and which is the basis of part of the tracks on this album. At other times such as "Falling Empire" and "The Grey Cat Dinasty" envelop with their dense atmospheres, while Francesca Amati’s vocals contains a mysterious halo due for her words.
