Thomas Köner es una figura fundamental en la música contemporánea, el tecno y el arte multimedia, para lo cual compone, realiza trabajos audiovisuales, instalaciones y la producción musical. Durante más de tres décadas, su trabajo ha sido reconocido internacionalmente en distintos escenarios alrededor del mundo. Tiene al menos 15 discos editados en las etiquetas Force Inc. / Mille Plateaux y Touch, entre otros.
“Motus” emerge lentamente desde las profundidades en donde podemos escuchar diálogos en alguna lengua oriental y en otros idiomas, todo ello envuelto en una atmósfera oscura y densa. En la superficie flotan líneas de sintetizadores hipnóticas que pulsan un ritmo solpado y constante, cuyo beat es candencioso y bailable. Pero hacia el final del disco un oscuro ambiente rodea el downbeat somnoliento y arrastrado que nos devuelve a la profundidad.

Thomas Köner is a key figure in contemporary music, techno and multimedia art, for which he composes, performs audiovisual works, installations and music production. For more than three decades his work has been recognized internationally in different scenarios around the world. It has at least 15 albums published on Force Inc. / Mille Plateaux and Touch, among other labels.
"Motus" emerges slowly from the depths where we can hear dialogues in oriental and in other languages, all immersed in a dark and dense atmosphere. On the surface, lines of hypnotic synthesizers float that strike a steady and constant rhythm, with an fiery and danceable upbeat.
But towards the end of the album a dark atmosphere surrounds the sleepy and dragged downbeat that returns us to the depth.
