El artista alemán Jochen Tiberius Koch edita su segundo disco en Schole Records, sello japonés dirigido por Akira Kosemura.
Este nuevo disco se inspira en la historia de “Astoria”, un hotel construido de 1915 localizado en Leipzig, Alemania que fue destruido en la guerra y restaurado convirtiéndose en los edificios más bellos en ese país. Finalmente este hotel ha sido testigo de la división y reunificación alemana.
En su propuesta musical nuestro protagonista combina el carácter clásico de su música con la incorporación del piano e instrumentos de cuerda y viento como el violín, trompeta junto a arreglos electrónicos con el sintetizador.
En varias canciones participan otros artistas como Minna quien canta y escribe las letras, así también lo hace Fraeullein Laura, Astrid Hoeschel-Bellmann quien recita y Gunnar Skrocki quien escribe y recita.
“Lost Place” muestra una nueva faceta con sus guitarras cristalinas en clave dream pop. “Astoria” tiene momentos íntimos en los que se destila cierta nostalgia, en otros, se aprecia grandilocuencia y un carácter épico que viene retratar la historia que representó este hotel.

German artist Jochen Tiberius Koch releases his second album on Schole Records, a Japanese label run by pianist and composer Akira Kosemura.
This new album is inspired by the story of "Astoria", a hotel built in 1915 located in Leipzig, Germany which was destroyed in the war and restored becoming the most beautiful buildings in the country. Finally, this hotel has witnessed the German division and reunification.
In his musical proposal our protagonist combines the classic character of his music with the incorporation of piano and string and wind instruments such as violin, trumpet along with electronic arrangements with the synthesizer.
Various artists collaborate in several songs such as Minna who sings and writes the lyrics, like Fraeullein Laura, and Astrid Hoeschel-Bellmann along with Gunnar Skrocki on words and spoken.
"Lost Place" shows a new facet with its crystalline guitars in dream pop vein. "Astoria" has intimate moments with hints of some nostalgia, in others, there is grandiloquence and an epic character that comes to portray the history that this hotel represented.
