Loscil es el proyecto de música electrónica del canadiense Scott Morgan que comienza el 2001 a publicar discos como Loscil, varios de ellos editados en la etiqueta Kranky.
Como director en la industria de video juegos, Morgan se inspira para este disco en la música del video juego denominado “Lifelike” por Kunabi Brother.
La música de Loscil es la banda sonora de un viaje en el que están presentes las formas neoclásicas, el ambient y acercamientos a la Kosmische musik.
Sutiles pulsaciones rítmicas son la base de algunas pistas, así como las líneas ambientales con sorprendentes y sinuosas melodías. Todo transcurre lentamente, como ver un filme cuadro a cuadro por el que se despliegan atmósferas inquietantes y ensoñadoras.

Loscil's music is the soundtrack for a trip in which the neoclassical forms, the ambient and approaches to the Kosmische musik are present.
Subtle rhythmic beats are the basis of some tracks, as well as environmental lines with uncanny and sinuous melodies. Everything goes slowly like watching a film frame by frame through which disquieting atmospheres and dreamlike unfold.
In this trip and with the expansive nature of the music I have been able to imagine distant and at the same time attractive places, without fear, but with hope and peace.
