Ambos artistas vienen colaborando desde 2002 y este es el tercer álbum que lanzan juntos. Kamilya Jubran, en voz, texto y laud árabe, es una renombrada artista de la música experimental y de la escena alternativa árabe y Werner Hasler es un compositor e intérprete suizo de música electrónica y trompetista.
“Wa” consiste en un solo tema de 45 minutos aproximadamente en el que se produce un diálogo permanente con la trompeta, no obstante en algunos pasajes las vocalizaciones de Jubran se despliegan en forma autónoma, alcanzando un alto registro para llegar hasta ejercicios guturales sombríos y oscuros. Mientras, la trompeta de Hasler revolotea expandiéndose y contrayéndose, junto a una electrónica que por momentos va marcando un ritmo incesante, en otros, se vuelve abstracta.
Todo ello en un contexto donde la improvisación es la forma en cómo se desenvuelven ambos músicos en este álbum y donde también la música del oriente se abraza con la occidental moderna.

Both artists have been collaborating since 2002 and this is the third album they release together. Kamilya Jubran, on vocals, text and Arabic laud, is a renowned artist of experimental music and the alternative Arab scene, and Werner Hasler is a Swiss composer and performer of electronic music and plays de trumpet. 
“Wa” consists of a single track of approximately 45 minutes in which there is a permanent dialogue with the trumpet, however in some passages Jubran’s vocalizations unfold autonomously, reaching a high register to reach gloomy guttural exercises with a dark side. Meanwhile, Hasler's trumpet flutters expanding and contracting, along with electronics that at times mark an incessant and repetitive rhythm, in others, it becomes abstract.
All this in a context where improvisation is the way in which both musicians develop their work and where also the music of the East embraced the modern western music.
