Un nuevo lanzamiento del sello de Colin Herrick afincado en Alameda, California y como es la característica, una edición limitada, esta vez de 125 copias más un cuidadoso cuadernillos, elaboradas cada una de estas en forma artesanal.
Time Released Sound ha editado el trabajo de más de 80 artistas de alrededor del mundo como el iraní Porya Hatami, el italiano Giulio Aldinucci, o el noruego Benjamin Finger que proponen música ambient, folk y drone.
Este compilado es curado por el alemán Wolfgang Röttger aka Morgen Wurde (también con un disco editado en el sello) quien realizó un delicado trabajo de reunir a artistas ya conocidos, algunos de ellos reeditados y otros nuevos en este género.
Marca el comienzo de este viaje Ludvig Cimbrelius aka Purl con una atmósfera expasiva y líneas de teclados ambientales, característica principal de este compilado.
Aquí hay algunos temas notables como offthesky & Pleq con su track "Simulacromancer", cuyos arreglos de piano y sesiones orquestadas imponen cierto dramatismo. Vericuetos más oscuros son los que asoman en “Interlude Discharge” de Sven Kössler & Si Matthews con interesantes de notas de sintetizador a lo Kosmiche Muzik. Ruxpin con su tema “Autocaz” tiene un carácter épico con sus bellas melodías compuestas por un loop de voces y esta misma línea el norteamericano Thomas Meluch aka Benoît Pioulard con varios discos en Kranky, nos propone “VII”, simplemente un bellisimo tema.
También se destacan los hermano belgas Ringo and Kas Arts aka RIKAAR que acaban de editar su primer disco en Apollo Records (subsello de R & S), con su track “Dark Vacuum” con sus colchones ambient y solapados beats.
Interesante compilado que nos muestra algunas joyas del ambient.

Time Released Sound has released the work of more than 80 artists from around the world such as Iranian Porya Hatami, Italian Giulio Aldinucci, or Norwegian Benjamin Finger who propose ambient, folk and drone music.

Ushers this journey Ludvig Cimbrelius aka Purl with an expansive atmosphere and lines keyboard ambient lines, the main characteristic of this compilation-.
There are some notable here like offthesky & Pleq’s "Simulacromancer" track, whose piano arrangements and orchestrated sessions impose certain drama. Darker turns are those that appear on "Interlude Discharge" by Sven Kössler & Si Matthews with amazing synth notes in Kosmiche Muzik vein. Ruxpin with its song "Autocaz" has an epic character with its beautiful melodies composed by a loop of voices and in the same line, American Thomas Meluch aka Benoît Pioulard with several albums on Kranky, proposes "VII", simply a gorgeous piece.
Also highlighted are Belgian brothers Ringo and Kas Arts aka RIKAAR, who just had their first release on Apollo Records (sublabel of R & S), with their track "Dark Vacuum" with ambient mattresses and overlapping beats.
Amazing compilation that shows us some ambient jewels.
